Apple is full of surprise, I don’t expect any new beta this week, but who knows? Maybe they’ll fix the calculator bug with beta 6 and release the final identical to beta 6.

Of course these are all about speculations..
We are done with betas. iPhone X units are fully assembled and have iOS 11.1 final on it with support for Apple Pay Cash. Now with that being said, its possible the calculator bug is fixed in the true final of 11.1, but seems unlikely.

At this point, a calculator bug is a minor one. Only a showstopper (e.g. FaceID unlock with digital picture or so) would force a sixth beta...

So in that case, if iPhone X units already shipped, iOS 11.1final may be same as beta 5 or very similar to beta 5. We’ll see early next week :)

It will be similar to beta 5, but not the same unless Apple can magically enable Apple Pay Cash without the additional developer profile that has been required.

It may be that the profile has only been required when access to Apple Pay Cash was limited. It may be that for a general release, it will be activated server side.

Is Apple Pay activation not a server side thing? The only way to expend it to more countries are releasing a new fw?
As Sunny has stated in this thread a few times now. Yes, a new update is required for the underlying code for it to be released in new countries. Then a subsequent server-side push. I have a feeling Apple Pay Cash is going to require a physical code update as its not implemented already. I don't think its as simple as flipping a switch, but what do I know?
