This!!. It drives me nuts too. Especially when you are listening to music and unlock the phone to go to home screen. Sometimes even freezes for a split second. iPhone 8 Plus here.

Since installing iOS 11.1 yesterday on my phone. Not once have I had the system wide stutter after unlocking the device. I was having it multiple times a day on 11-11.0.3.

People claim it needs to be enabled. When using a 29W charger, I notice an improvement over 12W. So I think it already is.

Fast charging plugged in is enabled. I have an iphone 8 and it's fast for sure

Nope. Apple releases it 2-3 days before hardware, not the Monday of launch week. You can verify that for the last 7+ years. iOS is always Tuesday or Wednesday, hardware is Friday.

This is not true anymore. In the last 1-2 years Apple released the updates not only tuesdays. This is something that changed. It could be released today, there is no special day where Apple release it 100%

IIRC iOS 10.1 was released on Monday last year. I think we will see it drop today. And if not, then tomorrow. Looking forward to an improved experience, as iOS 11.0.3 has been quite sour to me.

This is not true anymore. In the last 1-2 years Apple released the updates not only tuesdays. This is something that changed. It could be released today, there is no special day where Apple release it 100%

Actually. You are incorrect. Whenever hardware is being released with a new version of iOS, the iOS version comes out Tuesday or Wednesday. Find me a Monday release. You won’t be able to.

Before you start saying my posts are incorrect, make sure you read it very carefully. I made my point very clear. This refers to software directly before a hardware launch.

This is not a typical software update release.
