Ok, with the Hey Siri issue it made sense to push out iOS 11.1.1. I doubt that Apple would have shipped it, if the autocorrection issue was the lone one.

That makes 5 iOS updates released publicly within 6 weeks.

More or less what it was like with iOS 10 (10.1.1 was even out in October).

Well, aside the iPhone 7 ( + plus model), there were only three updates within the same timeframe. iOS 10 initial release was already iOS 10.0.1

Me too. 11.2 needs a couple more meaningful betas though, because there are some odd quirks to iron out.

When Apple announces the ship date for HomePod, you'll know 11.2 will drop soon.

Indeed, while it is a vast improvement with better battery life my iPhone 7 developed a strange bug with the camera. When activated to take a still the screen is totally BLACK. The only way to get it to work is to swipe until you get to the video mode...the image appears...then swipe back to the still shot mode.

I have rebooted several times and it happens about 75% of the time. This is new for my phone. Always worked flawlessly prior to this 11.2 strange.

That's it... the text bug was getting a lot of bad press... so Apple released the fix. The 'hey Siri" bug fix was a freebie.

11.1.1 came last Thursday. I think it will drop to address cold issues with the X.

If it’s not tomorrow, then it won’t be for another two weeks. Apple is closed the week of Thanksgiving and there has never once been a beta or public release during that week.
