How can i know? I hava a iphone 7
For those without an iPhone X it sounds like there might or might not be something there, but chances are there are probably some fixes/changes somewhere under the hood, so to say.

Sure would like to hear what @sunny2k1 is referring to with 11.1.2. Also it would be nice to get 11.2 beta 4 today with a new phone app to fix the flaky one in b3 before a whole week of nothing. Maybe we will be surprised later today :)

There was an iOS related issue which could use the Credit Card Number while using Apple Pay via the iPhone and iPad. That could finally lead to some errors using Apple Pay as the transaction was rejected (our bank had an unusual high number of failed transaction)

I don't do beta's anymore especially on my new X but hey if it comes out and its the final release based on evidence then im totally game for installing it

I hear you. If no beta today, we still have our Thanksgiving feast next week. :D

I honestly really hope they start to kill these bugs and start optimizing the phones performance. 10.3.3 was such a good release on my 7
Agreed.

It’s certainly better than when 11 was initially released. They’re making progress.

lmao no way. We'll get 11.2 in early December. HomePod delay means nothing for software
That’s what you think. The major change of iOS 11.2 is the inclusion of HomePod software and Apple Pay cash.

There is absolutely no reason to release 11.2 in December now. If anything Apple should take more time in it to continue to improve iOS 11. There is no rush anymore.

I wonder if this is what caused a lot of Apple Pay related issues with the iPhone X pre orders.

highly doubt that man, 11.2 contains so many fixes they wouldn't delay that just for HomePod

Mmh, I doubt it as its main feature is Apple Pay Cash. And adding the HomePod setup can be done by a 11.2.x update.

Do recall iOS 10.2 was primarily introduced in early December for AirPod support because it launched in a December.

iOS 10.2 also had 7 betas. We are at 3 With 11.2.

I know that one of the main features is Airplay 2, but 11.2 is the way to improve iOS 11. They have to release it asap, it is pointless to stay in 11.1 for 3 or 4 months if they are going to release iOS 12 in June.

Why is it pointless? Do you not remember the majority of iOS releases never make it past X.2.x.

This is not uncommon in the slightest. Plus we are only at beta 3. Majority of X.2 release have at least 5 builds.

It would make sense to delay Apple Pay Cash as Europe/Canada can launch Apple Pay Cash as early as January 2018. That alongside with the much rumored launch in three+ countries, we might see Apple Pay Cash later than anticipated.

Overall iOS 11 seems to be a huge desaster for Apple so far...

they could always release 11.2 in december. include homepod in iOS 11.3

11.2 is not the end of the road either we are still missing iMessage in the cloud, airplay2, etc. which those could be in 11.3? none of those are in 11.2.
