Typically the GM moniker is only used for X.0 releases, not X.x releases.

Technically each last beta can be seen as a GM. A GM is a (not the) possible version ready for shipment. Even if Apple does not name the last beta version of an iOS x.x update GM , the first non-beta build number is technically the GM.

Take a look at the iOS 11.1. Beta five was the first non-beta build of iOS 11.1. Friday before the release Apple pushed Beta 6 as another iOS 11.1 GM.

Apple was closed last week so no work was done. There hasn’t been enough time to get anything out the door today.

If you followed that thread closely, you would know, that Apple internally is 2-3 builds ahead of the developer cycle. Beta 4 was ready 3 three weeks ago. And an expected Beta 5 is already two weeks old.

Right, that’s why I said the GM moniker is not used.

iOS 11.2 Beta 4 still has some bugs and issues, for example with Safari. I think they will release another beta before final release.

People saying today isn’t possible may want to see what date iOS 10.2 beta 4 came out.

Ah interesting. I checked, and yep, 10.2 beta 3 came out the Monday after Thanksgiving.

However, 10.2 beta 3 came out exactly 14 days before 10.2 beta 4, while we got 11.2 beta 4 10 days ago. So they had 4 more days of development time between 10.3 beta 3 and beta 4 (if we were to see a beta 5 today, today makes 10 days)
That combined with madscotsman saying we won't get one, I am gonna go with no beta today.

There should be more beta's, even if not released today. The sporadic bug with the phone "app" for Favorites, Contacts, Call & VM locking up for a minute or two still exists and needs to be fixed before they can go public.
