"pvm" means?I hope they will resolve the problem with pvm on the X in this updates...
I don´t understand exactly what it is. Touch, vibration or something else? Sorry for OT.Pulse width modulation
It’s something in the OLED screen which causes eye strain for some people.I don´t understand exactly what it is. Touch, vibration or something else? Sorry for OT.

Okay. I´m wearing glasses, no problems, in my case (True Tone + Night Shift: sunset until sunrise). It’s something in the OLED screen which causes eye strain for some people.
Wikipedia "told me", that it has something to do with signals. The acronym doesn’t match the description ... but I’m just being mean now

What kind of update?Yes..
I speculate an update in a few hours
11.2.2What kind of update?
It could really be any day this week. Not sure about today though. More like tomorrow or Wednesday if you ask me11.2.2
I definitely admit to not having watched closely but I presume they need to release fairly quickly and frequently to be done for a 11.2.5 release at the end of January-ish.
What do you think about my theory?
Why are you so sure a new release will be deployed quickly ?
Is there an urgent bug to fix ?
Nope. iOS 4 had a 4.2.1 update and went directly to 4.2.5 next so not necessarily going to get all those in-between up to 11.2.5. And x.x.X updates don't always have betas (as you just saw with 11.2.1) so they could release another one or two or none before 11.2.5 is finished. Also 11.2.5 could be a single beta or one more. Point being they don't have to 'fill the gap' up to 11.2.5 and 11.2.5 could release fairly quickly without a ton of betas.11.2.2

It is because in @sunny2k1 we trust!I’m not sure. It’s just my hunch from very unmethodical perusing of the forum
Thanks. Appreciate the historical context.Nope. iOS 4 had a 4.2.1 update and went directly to 4.2.5 next so not necessarily going to get all those in-between up to 11.2.5. I don’t know, there’s a chance. 10.2.1 b2 was released on December 20, only a week after b1
Yeah a chance but its not been a week yet so I would more guess maybe tomorrow or Wednesday for another beta and perhaps 11.2.2 today. If in fact that is a planned release as stated last week.I don’t know, there’s a chance. 10.2.1 b2 was released on December 20, only a week after b1
Didn’t really work like that. Only iPhone 4 CDMA got iOS 4.2.5-4.2.9. All others stopped at 4.2.1 until 4.3 was launched. 4.2.5 was for the launch of the Verizon iPhone only.Nope. iOS 4 had a 4.2.1 update and went directly to 4.2.5 next so not necessarily going to get all those in-between up to 11.2.5. Huh. Seems it hasn’t been a hard 10am pacific release time lately. We may still see an iOS beta 2.macOS beta 2 out
