I think we'll see an iOS 11.2.5 b2 update tomorrow or later in the week. I don't think they'll release it today.

I hope you're right, although this first beta is running pretty good for me so I don't know why I want another beta, LOL.Probably expect the unexpected I wouldn't be surprised if it release later today
Often enough it's more of around 10 AM, sometimes a few minutes before, sometimes a few after, and sometimes even a some more than a few after. Then there's the other somewhat less typical but existing nonetheless 1 PM release window too.Huh. Seems it hasn’t been a hard 10am pacific release time lately. We may still see an iOS beta 2.
All true, but I’m looking specially at the last iOS and Mac betas. Apple has been all over the place recently. Can’t really use the past as a predictor anymore. Even @Madscotsman has given up and he has better “tools” than we do.Often enough it's more of around 10 AM, sometimes a few minutes before, sometimes a few after, and sometimes even a some more than a few after. The timing periods have more or less been the same. Of course that has changed at times and can change again for any release. I think what was given up on was more on the days of releases as even the planned ones have gotten pushed back or sometimes up due to some last minute things. All true, but I’m looking specially at the last iOS and Mac betas. Ah ok that may be, but still the version jumped directly from 4.2.1 to 4.2.5 for those devices yes? With no 4.2.2, 4.2.3, 4.2.4 in between.Didn’t really work like that. Only iPhone 4 CDMA got iOS 4.2.5-4.2.9. All others stopped at 4.2.1 until 4.3 was launched. 4.2.5 was for the launch of the Verizon iPhone only.

No. CDMA launched with 4.2.5 and got 4.2.5-4.2.9. GSM stopped at 4.2.1. There was never a 4.2.1-4.2.5 update.Ah ok that may be, but still the version jumped directly from 4.2.1 to 4.2.5 for those devices yes? With no 4.2.2, 4.2.3, 4.2.4 in between.
Unfortunately not at this time. Like I said before, I'm not even sure Apple knows what they're doing anymore.@Madscotsman, any inklings?
Haha, understood.Unfortunately not at this time. Like I said before, I'm not even sure Apple knows what they're doing anymore.
OK. However 4.2.5 was the next 4.2.x version that was released (for any device) after 4.2.1. So there wasn't a 4.2.2, 4.2.3 and 4.2.4, for any device. At any rate, no one knows what Apple may or may not do with iOS 11. No matter what history was. We have seen that more than once this year. So all we can do is speculate on what may happen and utilize some of the resources here with other contacts on the subject.No. CDMA launched with 4.2.5 and got 4.2.5-4.2.9. GSM stopped at 4.2.1. Last week we had a MacOS update on Monday and then the iOS/WatchOS/tvOS update was Wednesday. I'd bet on an update tomorrow or Wednesday since we had the MacOS update today.
I’m assuming there will be a beta release, but who knows when they’ll decide to push out another 11.2.X build. Is this an official iOS update we’re waiting on or a beta release?
Great news. Thanks for the update. Maybe a public release for all this week. If that bug will cause doom come 2018, I can’t imagine they would wait until next week to release it.The month 13 bug is fixed in the new MacOS beta, so hopefully the new iOS and WatchOS beta's will fix it too.
that will def mean a new release this week. The month 13 bug is fixed in the new MacOS beta, so hopefully the new iOS and WatchOS beta's will fix it too.
Either I forgot or missed it but what exactly would this cause on 1/1? I have read all the posts about it but don't recall anything saying what exactly would happen. (or potentially will happen)If it holds true that this "Month 13 is out of bounds" is fixed, I see a release of iOS 11.2.2 and another beta of iOS 11.2.5 as imminent. Based on things I've learned that it needs to be fixed prior New Year's Day resp. January 2nd. That bug would satisfy an emergency fix such iOS 11.2.0 was in the end

Thx, I just looked through some mac forums/threads and it looks like this is causing some performance and ram issues as well. What happened on the iOS side we saw with the "date bug" earlier this month. iOS 11.2.0 was just a "placebo" to the springboard crashes. On the macOS it causes kernel panics due blocking some important tasks to run normally and could make the system technically unusable.
It is strange, that is not discussed more widely here or on other tech sites.
Head spinning with all these possibilities! So are you ready for 11.2.2 or 12.2.5 beta 2 ?
