Wow they did release it to Public. I am a little surprised to tell the truth. Perhaps they got the iCloud messages working better than the last time. Or just aren't sweating it if folks loose their messages :)

As @Mlrollin91 stated tho typically its a later beta before Public gets these. x.X ones
I'm confused, did they release a PB? I don't see it anywhere.

I only see the AppleTV PB.

So I see things going out like that...
Next week we won t see any new update and right after the 5 th february we will see the second betas of iOS,macOS etc...

Maybe to early to ask but when can we expect the release of 11.3?
One week or two from now?

Anyone able to give insider info on how Apple feel about recent releases.. namely the quality?

Seems to have been an interesting few months. Wonder what the internal feeling is

It is also announced for spring of 2018. As @Mlrollin91 indicated, late March at the earliest.

If we had 6 betas, I assume we get weekly betas not before end February. Prior I see bi-weekly betas 2 and 3.

It would be ironic if a point release (12.2.5) has 7 betas and 11.3 will have less betas..

The main reason why Apple released 7 betas for iOS 11.2.5 was the imminent launch of several new Apple Pay countries. Look back in the past and you will see a similar pattern. The same goes for macOS and watchOS.

An x.x.x update without any beta is only available if serious security issues or performance issues pop up.

I'm understanding your point, I'm just referring to the present day...
It is odd to see that a point release is more tested that "main release"...

Beside security updates, iOS 11.3 will be the end of the iOS 11 life. So this needs to be a version for a half year prior iOS 12. So testing far more important than ever. Especially with some products getting cut prior iOS 12.

I wonder if we’ll ever see Safari 3D Touch tab switching in iOS 11. I was looking forward to it.

Hmm I wonder exactly what that means? I just tried 3D touching on a tab when all the tabs are showing on my iPhone and noticed you can peek and pop the tabs... I never noticed this before until I read your post. I’m guessing it’s not the same thing but I never noticed this on iOS 10.
