Hmm I wonder exactly what that means? I just tried 3D touching on a tab when all the tabs are showing on my iPhone and noticed you can peek and pop the tabs... I never noticed this before until I read your post. I’m guessing it’s not the same thing but I never noticed this on iOS 10.
Yeah, not sure how long that behavior has been there, but I noticed it has been very inconsistent throughout iOS 11. I’m guessing they are referring to something different as I don’t see much functionality to what you are referencing over just tapping on the tab.

Even if we got a beta this week it probably wouldn’t have the battery features since it’s currently still January.

Unless we get one Thursday :) ha. On one hand I suspect it will be next week since usually the 1st few are at 2 week intervals. However on the other hand typically the public doesn't drop until about beta 2 or 3. So since public version dropped on a beta 1.................... Maybe 1 week intervals.....

Hows it look for next week?

That will be the earliest I would say. Certainly for a beta 2.

I’m hoping they return to 2wk cycles to iron out bugs properly in between and only release sooner if a major critical bug is found and easily fixed.

LOL not likely. @Madscotsman has already stated no beta this week. He has pretty good track record. And typically early betas are on 2 week cycles anyway. So next week almost certainly.

As @sbailey4 stated early betas of iOS x.x (e.g. 11.3) ship in a bi-weekly cycle. Normally late betas ship weekly with same day release of the PB. A good guess would be Monday Morning PT (PB not before Tuesday).
