Or. iOS 11.3 is ready and macOS needs to be finished. Meaning public release for all next week.
They've staggered iOS and macOS updates in the past. 11.0 and 10.13 were a week or so apart, and 11.2 and 10.13.2 were a few days apart.

Yes, but GMs were out for both softwares. We have never gotten a beta for one software and the final release for another in the same week. macOS was clearly not done, so next week would be the time frame.

macOS 10.13.4 and iOS 11.3 are more connected than previous version because of messages in the cloud.

Good Friday, apple don't release software on weeks that contain a public holiday right?
Good Friday is not a federal holiday.

11.2 beta 6 was released on Dec 1 (Friday) and the public was released on Dec 2 (Saturday).

You keep saying this word "never". I think you should consider saying "usually" instead.

And yes I am well aware of the feature-set of 11.3/10.13.4.

You can't cherry pick that release. That release ONLY happened because of the 11.1.x crashing bug after midnight. Everyone here will attest to that.

If 11.1.x didn't crash after midnight, that release wouldn't have come out until Monday at the earliest (with macOS, watchOS and tvOS).

Usually implies it being often, one time out of 200+ releases is not usually. There is only one exception and it was because of a catastrophic bug.

I've heard loads of people hinting at the RC/GM still coming out today. Too many to ignore honestly. We'll see in a few hours I guess.

When did macOS beta 7 drop yesterday?

(What time?)
2:24PM, which is a very odd time. But its probably because iOS 11.3 is done and 10.13.4 wasn't.

Once we get this late into beta. Not all software versions get the same amount of betas.

Did anyone get an popup saying. "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time"?
Yes, happening on Mac as well. Though Apple's System Status page shows all up and running. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
