Beta 3 is coming on July 10th according to the Reddit guy. This makes sense since it'll be two weeks since PB.
It is hard to argue with his accuracy. He has a source, and they nailed the 21st.

It is nice to have a source for once. It really wouldn't kill Apple to have a release schedule, even if it changes periodically. Would really help developers that run up against bugs preventing further development plan their schedule, and prevent public beta testers from jumping ship and downgrading. Doesn't do Apple any good to keep a tight lid on the beta release schedule.

I think the signals for today vs next week are about equally split. Arguments for today:
  • Today is more or less Monday of this week due to the Tuesday Independence Day holiday (which meant a lot of people were off Monday).
  • Its been 14 days (I ignore the incremental build as I think that was an "emergency" release).
Arguments for next week (or even later, as per last year):
  • Its still a holiday week with heavy vacations here in the US
  • A release next week would seem to put Apple on track for 6 beta releases prior to Sept 1. (B3 7/10, B4 7/31, B5 8/14 and B6 8/28)

We have one data point and a reputed source. I could say I have a source, too, and that doesn't mean one exists. For all we know, the reddit poster got lucky.

A 3 week gap between B3->B4? I would say more like B3 7/10, B4 7/24, B5 8/7, B6 8/14-8/21 and nothing until the event. There is usually a 3-4 week gap between final beta and the event for GM.

I am prying for a beta today, but I don't see it happening. I want to use my iPad again!

You’re presupposing Apple releases betas based on the USA, they don’t. The USA is just a small piece of the pie, the 10am releases are to suit the rest of us around the globe and not just 50 states.

Of course they (at least partially) do since Apple is located in the US. They have to actually be there to make sure things go smoothly when the beta is released.

God dammit, iOS 10.3.3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.6 BETA's released.. I doubt we'll see 10.3.3 and iOS 11 BETA's released on the same day.

Build number is 14G57/14G58, so it without a doubt the final build, just seeded to developers first. We will probably see the final early next week.

The fact that they got released to developers and public beta testers at the same time indicates that Apple are fairly certain that these are the real deal.
