You really think apple is going to give people dark mode without announcing it? Not a chance.
I guarantee you--you'll know when dark mode gets added because the comments here will be in all caps with lots of references to 'dark' and 'mode'
If you're planning on getting one of the new phones on Friday and are also planning on restoring a backup, don't update to 12.1 as there is currently no beta for those phones.

I don’t see anything new in this update and I don’t even see anything on the release notes in the dev portal. Must just be mostly bug fixes
Not sure if placebo, but iPhone X seems a lot quicker and less laggy, things loads quicker too (widgets etc)
Do NOT install if you’re getting the iPhone XS Or XS Max. Apple has not released any 12.1 ipsw for those devices yet.

at least not yet, im sure they will when the device goes on sale on Friday.
Couldn't you back up your current 12 data before insalling this beta. Them restore that on xs/max
It’ll be released eventually. What’s the point of them releasing it now to public if the phones are not out yet.
Lets hope Apple releases the update for the iPhone Xs and the iPhone Xs Max before Friday morning, or we will have the same issue as when the X came out and all of the developers could not restore their new phones (Me included )
