As much as the modem upgrade tempts me, I think I am going to sit this one out and stick with 12.1.3 final for a bit.

I would be interested in feedback about LTE however ...

Great thread!
1+ I agree. I am tempted by the modem and carrier upgrades too, but since folks haven't mentioned that they actually improve reception, I don't think its worth installing, since some folks now have Apple Pay issues. I will be watching the threads about both these items. Thanks to everyone who is posting feedback on these betas.

Those new boxes in the wallet app! I think this will be systemwide for all apps with the ios 13 „redesign“.
[doublepost=1548432340][/doublepost]Woa I got a nice find.

If you login to a website now via this new blue button login thing it automatically logs you in. No manual „login“ tap anymore.

Nothing more than griping, but..

I *hate* the new remote in CC. Mini remote was a lot cleaner and they could’ve enlarged it a bit, but full screen is a no go for me. Like, why do I have to close it like an app? (I mean I know why, but still). I know it’s just the first beta, but hoping this changes.

All other UI tweaks are pretty welcomed. Love the “rounded-boxier” look in Wallet. Agree with a previous post that it might be the system wide look in 13.

Can you share a picture of what you're referring to? What is the "blue button thing"?

Looks like some authentication weirdness with apps:

- BECU (mobile banking) app fails to log in
- Geico app fails to log in
- AT&T app fails to pull in billing info

I am having no issues here with ATT app. I am able to see my bill, balance, payments. What billing info can't you see?

hmm. i tried in a few websites and i still have to hit login. what website did you test on?

All sites working. But this blue button doesnt appear on every site I log in. I dont know why. Sometimes its the blue button and on other pages its the normal over keyboard button. But this is really nice since its so logical that you want to tap login if you tap on your credentials

I thought so, although after almost one day you could see a difference. I'll ask tomorrow then.
You might see a difference, but the first few days and charge cycles usually won't really be representative of what things will be like typically down the line.

I don‘t think the iPhone is becoming the hub, I think the Apple Ecosystem and your AppleID + iCloud are the new hub. All your media, accessible from and controllable from any device that supports the Apple Ecosystem. Never made sense to me to push the ATV as a media hub, iCloud is the hub.
Reduced latency as well as privacy concerns are two reasons to have a Homekit hub local in the home (Apple isn't Google after all) :)
Back it up, encrypted to the cloud, sure, but have all chatter between your Homekit IOT devices in the home, except when it makes sense for them to communicate with your wearables / iPhones.

And maybe my characterizing the phone as the hub was a touch off. But it certainly is the controller for the hub.

Anybody having issue with their AOL email after the update ? It kept asking me to re-enter password in settings.

After I enter the password, it will work for about an hour then ask for password again.
