Where is the AppleCare/Warranty status displayed? I looked in Settings -> About and can't find anything there, not even "Warranty expired". Or does it only show something if you are still in warranty?

Yes, it should be shown in the Settings>General>About. I believe only eligible devices will show AppleCare status that either has coverage or eligible to purchase AppleCare if it is under limited warranty. It will not show if your coverage has expired.

Mine didn't show either...until I restarted my iphone and then an additional menu item for Applecare was displayed.

And if you don’t have AppleCare it shows your warranty status.

Yeah

Having an odd problem where videos or animated GIFs don’t work in any app. I reboot the phone and they work for a few minutes, but then stop. Twitter, Safari, YouTube, NHL, At Bat. Doesn’t matter.

iPhone XS

I’ve noticed an issue where after unlocking my XS, the phone opens to the second home screen pane and not the first one which I was on prior to locking the device. I only have 2 home screen panes. I’ll be reporting this as well. It doesn’t happen every time but maybe every few unlocks.

Does anyone know if 12.2 fixes the issue causing the Apple lightning to SD card reader to crash 2018 iPhones after a few minutes of being plugged in?

Stopped updating betas a few revs back and went back to 12.1.X.

Did they fix the keyboard so the emoji and numeric keys are reversed? Swear to god that drives me crazy. I’m not a 12 y/o Japanese girl that communicates solely by emojis.

If my iPad Pro 11 is, as marketed by Apple, a “professional grade device” I should be able to alter the keyboard layout to my preferences.

How is iOS 12.2 beta 6 on iPhone XS / Xs max ?? Cause my iPhone XS Max it is feeling very slow .. compared to beta 4 ..or maybe it’s just me .. I can say that battery is impressive but my phone it is feeling sluggish, slow and I’m seeing lots of frame drops

It might not be "just you". But on my XS Max, beta6 is running pretty well. Maybe it has a bug that interacts with an app that's on your phone but not mine.

On my XR this Beta has been rock solid and very smooth. I have noticed the app switcher is much more responsive and quicker. Very impressed and can’t wait to upgrade my wife’s XR also. She won’t let me do the Beta versions on her phone. She wants me to be the test dummy. I also have noticed start up is the fastest I have experienced on any phone I have had.

Just fine here on Xs

My only issue on this beta is cell reception randomly disappearing. Happened twice today when I was listening internet radio.

I think you need to assume that it’s never going to improve now. If it’s still ***** after 6 betas, there’s pretty much Bob Hope chance of it ever being resolved IMO. Unacceptable yes, but that’s the reality of it :(

Question, is it a signal loss or the issue with the phone saying it’s connected to LTE but you lose the mobile data connection?

Now I have seen this before the beta on my XR but not yet while on the beta. I am probably just lucky so far. In those cases I just toggled the mobile data icon in Control Panel but it sounds like your issue is the dropped signal. Just preparing myself for the inevitable. Thanks in advance.

Oh nope. That issue was resolved. Haven’t had it occurred either.

This issue I’m referencing is where your signal disappears as if you went into a No Service area. Takes 3 seconds before it says searching. Then it regain signal after 10 seconds. Here’s a shot i got while it was happening:

Then it sometimes happens again within the same hour or day. It’s super weird. It stopped with 12.1 and previous 12.2 betas. Now it’s back in this beta.

I noticed that with loosing LTE once today, thought it was AT&T

I wonder if it happens all at the same time? Last it happened someone else reported the same that day.

I’m thinking about reporting it to Apple again. But idk if I should. I did with 12.1 betas.

I have only seen it this 1 time...If i see it again will report to Apple..I Gonna blame AT&T...Probably a (5GE) issue!
