Can someone please tell me if the status bar is visible when control centre is open on an iPhone 7?

Can anybody please explain how DND during bedtime is supposed to work? Can I set bedtimes anywhere?

This is how I schedule mine with 11.4

I created one of me, it's pretty good IMO

Looks like me and I had to do minimal changes, it must see how you look and create the starting point from there.

Nice

Can someone check whether the the iPhone X screenshot button combo has been changed? Sick of adding to my huge library of accidental captures!

Apple Books Library section has some new organisation features.

A "Collections" sidebar with some new (?) categories:
  • Want to read
  • Finished
  • Books
  • Audiobooks
  • PDFs
  • Downloaded
  • My Books
  • Fiction
  • Non-fiction
It automatically categorised my imported epubs as Fiction / Non-fiction, not sure what "My Books" was for though - I'd guess stuff that's not in the iBooks Store?

You can mark books as ""Want to read" or "Finished", and rename them from the Library too.

Anyone that has it (stupid hotel WiFi is soooo slow) any word on these guys?

* Still no download iOS updates via Cellular?
* iCloud Cellular Backup?
* Still 150mb download limit over cellular for App Store?

According to the WWDC keynote, this is primarily a bugfix and performance release. The first beta of a new OS release is expected to be somewhat buggy. Even normal small bugfix releases like 11.4.1 are a bit buggy for example.

A nice long list of problems with iOS 12 Developer Beta 1 doesn't indicate anything as it's fully expected.

It's a "normal" release like Snow Leopard was a normal release. Major OS release, some new features, but primarily focused on bug fixes and performance.
Nope, did you even watch the keynote? Listen to it again. It stated performance enhancements but nothing was said about bug fixes or "primarily" anything. But again nice try. I believe I have clarified what I initially stated clearly (for the one or two who didn't get the point I was making in the last sentences of the post) and what I meant several times. So lets just agree that you are not understanding my post or refusing to acknowledge that you do and let it go. Its not really worth any further discussion. iOS 12 is obviously a new iOS with a lot of changes and updates. Not just a performance and bug fix for iOS 11. THAT was what was said and shown in the keynote. Believe what you want though :)

iOS 12 does heat up quite fast especially on mobile data, as for battery, feels as if it does get drained slightly faster but gotta see how it performs on a full battery

I was able to download "Jurassic World Alive", which is 289.2MB, over cellular (AT&T). Didn't work for an app that was around 2GB.

I’m really liking the Books update. I use my mini quite a bit to read books, and my Pro and iPhone as well at times depending on where I am. I like this new layout a lot.

everythingapple pro uploaded a video and said on the X it feels exactly the same no speed improvements, can anyone with an X confirm that or is he wrong
Don't have an X but remember this is a beta 1 that is not complete as of yet. So all the performance optimization may not be in there yet. Plus Craig pointed out mostly the older devices would notice it more (I suppose due to the raw power of the X its not as needed).

I can’t seem to be able to find the APP for creating shortcuts. I know about settings but isn’t there supposed to be an app?

It's inside the Siri settings page :)

EDIT:
Oh, yeah..no app for it beside finding it in settings. Can't remember if they said anything about a specific app to do it in.
