That's pretty conclusive proof that a notch-bearing Face ID iPad is near.

Is the Measure App missing for anyone else? I can find it through spotlight but I have searched every single page of my home screen multiple times and it is not showing up there.
Mine got put in a random spot on a page. Check your folders maybe

I created one of me, it's pretty good IMO

Looks like me and I had to do minimal changes, it must see how you look and create the starting point from there.
Nice! Can’t wait until the public beta comes out.

everythingapple pro uploaded a video and said on the X it feels exactly the same no speed improvements, can anyone with an X confirm that or is he wrong

I would agree seems smoother but not faster at all ... hard to describe .. but its pretty solid for the 1st beta .. I upgraded through Itunes and set up as new phone ..

I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but on the iPad at least there is no longer an activity spinner when certain apps (like Photos or Safari) are using the network.

This is a bit sad as it was nice to have that as a visual indication that something was done loading.

So can we technically easily roll back to older versions now without losing data? AFAIK messages was the last thing that required a backup, they now are stored via Messages in iCloud.
Does that mean we can set up our devices as new after a restore.
...
Could this be a breakthrough? Please correct me if I'm wrong (although I hope I'm not). A brave soul out there willing to try how much a fresh start actually pulls from iCloud?

Great guestion and worthy of a separate thread. Would also like to understand any risks of iCloud side data corruption due to running early os betas. I assume Apple has safeguards but seems tricky and there are no easy ways to validate the integrity of your main iCloud data (photos, messages, health mainly).

When editing a photo in Messages, it simply vanishes. There is no way to edit it within messages.
