To be fair, I have no issues with HomePod or HomeKit, everything works as it should be.

That's good to know. I may restore, set up as new, and give it a go. I like iOS 12 and would like to stay on it, but my HomePod couldn't stay connected as is. Kept going to "No hubs connected." Any suggestions or ideas? I am grasping at this point, but I was hoping this wouldn't happen. For some reason, an old reset HomePod showed up in "standby", which I just can't explain.

My iPhone X talks to the HPs just as before. What’s your issue?

Kept saying "no hubs connected" - I think my issue is that an old reset HomePod keeps showing up and confusing the current. I have no idea why it's still there as everything has been removed from my iCloud.

I think your issues can be chalked up to "Beta 1". This is the stuff that happens. It doesn't happen to everyone. Best thing to do is just report it and wait for the next beta to see if the issue is resolved.

Oh yea, definitely possible. I will try to restore and set up as new. If not, back to 11.4 I go - which is fine.

Oddly enough, I had HP issues too. What I did to resolve it was restart my router and it worked. I’m not sure what happened but something happened to my router after I updated to iOS 12 on my iPhone .

Nuke the Home and set that up new? If you have a Hue bridge, it’s done really fast.

GPS working for me, tried both Maps and Google Maps apps. What I haven’t tried though is directions which is what I read their issue is.

GPS working fine for me in Google Maps. Including directions.

What did irk me this morning was Runkeeper App doesn't lock onto GPS properly. Fortunately my Suunto has built in GPS so I could still keep track. It seemed to catch up after about 2 miles but it never recovered the deficit.

Yes, I am going to that. I removed my Home and I am going to restore, set up as a new phone, and see how it goes. I have a Hue bridge, August smart lock, and Nest products through a Homebridge so it should be relative painless, I hope.

Anyone notice while listening to audio through airpods and then removing both airpods from ears will cause audio to play through iPhone speaker? Is this a bug or is there a setting to change this behavior?

Edit: also, audio does not pause when removing one AirPod from ear.

Edit 2: restarted iPhone and repairing airpods fixed the issue.

No worries, sorry didn't have that issue myself. You could try forgetting the device from bluetooth settings and repairing. Sometimes that helps fix things.
That’s what I’m about to try. I’m also resetting my S3 as it thinks it’s charging while in my hand.

Tried it with WhatsApp here and they group right away.

I‘d love a bit of info on the difference between grouping automatic and per app though. Hope they add a description.

I think the per app setting groups all notifications from the same app together, while the automatic one tries to be a little bit smarter (maybe separate message notification groups depending on the sender etc etc) but I’m not certain
