I’m glad it’s not just me that is having fornite crash in beta 1 I bet it will be fixed in a future beta but I’m just glad someone caught it so it doesn’t get missed

Is anyone able to access their voicemail through the phone app? I am not able to.

my message app will not show i badge when i have a message, tried turning off and on notifications and such anyone else have this ?

Spotify and Twitter are running as they do on iOS 11, although Telegram has some minor cosmetic problems. AirPods work as good as they do on my other iOS devices. Group notifications are not working for me. My iPhone 6 is running like a charm on the new OS (its battery is working at normal peak capacity and I upgraded to iOS 12 after a clean install of iOS 11.4).

From my understanding it's supposed to turn the screen black & just show the time... But on my X it just dims the screen slightly.

No I think it just dims down the screen by a lot leaving pnly the time highlighted. It also displays a dark notification saying that every notification you get will go straight to the Notification Center. Once your bedtime is over it will display a good morning and the current weather with a forecast for the entire day

Same here as well.

Same here too .. I cant get Facetime or iMessage to activate also.. if anyone has any wisdom with this would love the help.. i have googled this issue and did all the steps to fix it on older ios but nothing has worked so far ..

Ahh got it! Thanks for explaining it. I asked because my brothers X made the screen pitch black except for the time once it hit the bedtime schedule.

Not much here for wisdom, Ive tried turning push on/off, using fetch instead... deleted company email and re set it up.. likely just going to have to wait until B2..

I am using Outlook which used Microsoft Authenticator to Authenticate for my work email. Outlook works fine if I don't have my work email added in Outlook but once I add it it causes Outlook to crash on opening. I also have the same issue when using Microsoft Teams. This is on an Ipad Air 2

Anyone else able to get Outlook working with MS Authenticator on IOS 12?

I was not able to get Outlook working once i realized exchange push was broken, same issue as you.. my company enforces pin to open the app and as soon as it setup my work email it crashes on launch immediately.

What problems are you having? I have ~12 homekit devices and a Homepod with iPhone X, and no problems here so far.

Yea, someone else said the same. Very well may not be a iOS 12 issue. For me, I think the issue is that an old/reset HomePod is showing up as a hub in standby. So I go to set up my HomePod and then 2 homepod hubs are showing in the Home app, once good and one on standby. Eventually, they both disconnect as I think they get confused. I thought it was the names so I named one Office and one Living Room - no luck. I have been struggling to figure out why it keeps showing up.

Trying to enter Bluetooth settings results in a crash to home screen 100% of the time.

Sooo... @Banglazed et. al. I have been part of this community for awhile. There's a commonality I've noticed in the beta forums of both OSs that I've only recently put into words. Most Devs and longtime Pub beta testers seem to understand this, but not all do.
A beta is usually more involved than taking an existing framework and trying a new feature which may or may not work and may or may not break something else. Sometimes, things are removed intentionally, either for total file size, memory use, compatibility issues, etc.
I know this sounds basic to a lot of youse guys, but given the amount of outright shock and apparent distress I've read when something doesn't work as expected in a beta, I don't think everyone realizes it. For example. Messages in iCloud, throughout the entire iOS 11 beta cycle where it was involved, didn't work in some way. Clearly Apple had gotten all the bugs out of it and had it working because it was released and functions normally in 11.4. BUT THE BETA VERSION WAS ALWAYS BROKEN... Why? Probably because it was too much time/money/resources to incorporate the fully working code into the beta shell... which is just what a beta really is: a shell to hold and test software. A GM *may* be all inclusive but even then it isn't necessarily so.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT REPORTING BUGS IN THE FORUM IS WRONG. It is absolutely the right place for that for this community.
I just wanted to get it out there that an awful lot of the comments about betas seem to come from the wrong direction. cheers!

Yessss!
I don’t know of it was ios 12 or recent spark update but now when you get a Youtube preview in mail in spark, clicking the watch later icon actually works!
You used to have to click the title to take you straight to youtube.
I didn’t know if it was apple, spark, youtube, or rss in email, but its fixed.

If your company enforces a pin to open the app, then this implies some form of Mobile Device Management is at play here. I don't use MDM and my Outlook app is receiving push notifications from my personal O365 email address just fine.

Not for me.... I go into settings app and then bluetooth and it acts as normal.

Yes we use MDM.. but that shouldn't be effecting push notifications in native mail.. if i turn push on / off they work for a bout 5 minutes then quit. Apple has broken exchange push before so i was not to surprised this happened.
Now that said, the MDM issue would def be causing the outlook app crash. i was merely testing the outlook app as a bypass to broken push in native client.

Honestly, other then the exchange issue, everything else seems really stable for me.

You also have to remember that rumours has it that the entire 2019 iPhone line-up is expected to have the iPhone X "edge-to-edge-display" design. It makes sense for Apple to make the gestures work the same on all the devices. I tend to actually forget this myself when I'm on my iPad Pro, I also forget I have to pull up from the bottom to get to control center instead of pulling down from the top right as on my iPhone X.

I'm not doubting we will see a new iPad Pro with a notch and Face ID but it makes perfect sense to make this change to all devices to make things more coherent.

So why don’t they do the same with the iPhone 7 and 8?

We use MDM that also sets the minimum OS level and we also exclude all phones on Beta or jailbroken. Could be that. If I put a beta on my phone I have to get added to the beta tester group (which I can do myself lol) or work mail doesn’t work.

Two things, Home app shows temperatures with one decimal. So before where I would have 29 (and it actually was reporting 28.5 thru the Elgato App) now shows 28.5 in Home.

Updated iPad Air2 to iOS2, the apps that were on the recent used apps dock disappeared from homescreen. Dragging them from the Recents to Home fixed it.
