iOS 12 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Seems as though all of the albums I had synced to my iPhone X are gone since updating to iOS 12. But in the section of photos by year I might be able to find them? I’m confused, but it’s very hard to find certain pictures quickly currently.

I don't think we are implementing that deep yet, nor do i think they plan too implement such.. for the greater most part they leave our devices alone at my company, we just use MDM to enforce security be it pin/biometrics.
As i still get emails when i open the app, just PUSH inst working. essentially its acting in Manual fetch mode. My Intune portal states I'm "in compliance" ever after a total removal and reinstall /setup.

where is the bed time toggle? saw someone mention this a few posts ago.. what is it all about?
 
Hmm. If I force touch at the left side of the screen on my iPhone 8+ I get a peek of the app switcher.. if I press it really hard I get the full app switcher.. Was it like this in iOS11 too? I sure as hell never noticed if it was.
 
I'm mildly surprised that Screen Time is not an option for Control Center… seems like it would make tremendous sense to allow it to be there.

Apps for blocking spam/robocalls. Basically like Safari adblock extensions they can self update, but they also report back anything you manually block for potential inclusion in the central lists.
 
Not sure if it has been mentioned (since I didn't see it listed as a bug), but you can't sort reviews on App Store. Stays on "sort by most helpful", no matter what option I select.

Yep, it was. If you do that lighter touch you can quickly switch between your two most recently used apps by swiping right.

This happens in iOS 10. Not sure about 11, but I assume it does.

Tested on a 7+ running 10.3.3.

Ditto that on iPad Mini 4 - I'm sure the difference isn't as drastic as your Mini 2, however my Mini 4 is running great on this first beta. I re-enabled animations and transparency as well.
 
Watching a video in portrait mode on YouTube and I couldn’t swipe up control center. The little tab shows but can’t swipe it up.

thanks guys. I forgot to ask about outlook mobile and skype for business if anyone sues that. Company recently migrated to office 365 so kinda need those 2. I figure quite a few people probably have outlook installed but less likely for skype for business

Skype for Business works and dont currently use outlook mobile for our devices.
 
I'm absolutely loving the updated Activity app. The badge sorting is so much more intuitive than just having everything lumped together.

My credit union's mobile app refuses to let me in so I've just added a webapp to my homescreen until it's resolved.

hmm things ive noticed;

NOT getting notifications for ARLO.
UNABLE to click camera icon in a iMessage thread to send a picture from camera roll. it just opens the camera full screen.
my battery/signal keeps disappearing from top right corner.
 
Stocks app - both iPhone 8+ and iPad Air 2 unable to add stocks or replace delete stock list, any ideas??

I'm not on the beta currently, but isn't there a Photos app in the Messages app drawer thing above the text field that lets you get at your camera roll?

Same. I hope they fix it and it's not new behavior.
