Any idea what those little dots are next to the WiFi logo ?

Ohhhhh nice! Yes it is. I guess it is new behavior but now I don't mind because opening that photos app does the same.

Yeah I'm automatically clicking on the camera a lot, but I'm glad this change was made - much prefer it this way, and I'll get used to it lol.

Are the new photo album opening animations only on the iPads? They look nice. But my phone just shows a slide over animation.

hmm things ive noticed;

NOT getting notifications for ARLO.
UNABLE to click camera icon in a iMessage thread to send a picture from camera roll. it just opens the camera full screen.
my battery/signal keeps disappearing from top right corner.

It’s moved to a new spot. See the uploaded screenshot

i cant believe this is beta 1 of a new ios, its running perfect like haven't had any issues so far and love the swipe up to clear apps on the x :) this is a great beta 1 and 3 months of betas means when it come out in September its gonna be amazing, the only thing im not keen with is the wallpaper is so nice but seems to much noise not retina quality but yeah this beta is amazing and loving the way apple has done this looking forward to beta 2

I'm not digging the idea of this. This puts potentially several extra clicks in just to share a picture.

Forcing people to open the cursed app drawer.

If I could reorder the App Drawer so that Photos is always in the first spot, then this is ok. If it reorders or stays in place (where you last left it), this is going to be annoying as hell.

A couple of things I've noticed that are worth mentioning using my iPhone 7. While on a call if I get another call I miss it as it does not display anything or make any sound to alert me that a 2nd call is waiting.
One more thing regarding alerts, when I set a certain tone for text messages for a certain contact it not only plays the wrong tone, but it changes the tone as well. One time it's one tone and the next time it's totally a different tone.
That's all I've noticed so far.
It does seem quite smoother overall but my battery hasn't settled down yet and seems to drop faster than previously. I think I'll wait for a couple of more updates and if still having these same problems will consider a full FDR and set up as new device. It's not my main phone so nothing's a big deal really. Pretty smooth for a beta 1 IMO.

I’m able to. Try going under about in settings to see if a carrier update is available. On a previous beta of iOS 11 I had to put phone in airplane mode then turn it off to get my voicemail working.
Thanks for the help, but nothing seems to work. This is what my screen looks like on the voicemail tab.
Also, apparently I can’t send any sort of picture or multimedia msgs to any non-iMessage capable phone.

Nope, not working for calls but other attention aware functions work.

Stocks app - both iPhone 8+ and iPad Air 2 unable to add stocks or replace delete stock list, any ideas??
Use the search bar on top. Search for the stock, and then you can add it using the plus sign next to that stock in the list.

I am using Outlook which used Microsoft Authenticator to Authenticate for my work email. Outlook works fine if I don't have my work email added in Outlook but once I add it it causes Outlook to crash on opening. I also have the same issue when using Microsoft Teams. This is on an Ipad Air 2

Anyone else able to get Outlook working with MS Authenticator on IOS 12?

I am running Outlook and MS Authenticator on iPhone X without issue.

It can’t be moved. [Edit: I understand what you’re asking now - yes, the app drawer position resets to the leftmost end each time you go to a message thread.
[doublepost=1528221851][/doublepost]By the way, has anyone gotten any Siri-suggested shortcuts yet? (Such as a prompt to turn on DND before a meeting.)

I’m aware that the Shortcuts app isn’t available yet, but thought we might see Siri ones since the settings have a shortcuts section.

App drawer photos working fine here. Doesn’t seem like an extra click to me because that drawer isn’t liking to stay closed for me anyway. :p

I have a ton of them in Settings>Siri & Search. They all seem to be based on things I recently have done on my phone. Nothing that I want to keep as a shortcut, unfortunately, as they are all 1-step actions.

Oh, to clarify, I mean the ones that are supposed to appear on the lock screen (I believe), not the ones you can add in settings.

(And yes, I have lock screen Siri suggestions on in settings.)

If nobody has gotten them yet, that’s probably because we still don’t have the shortcuts app.
