Be careful playing around with restrictions. It seems that if you enable Content & Privacy Restrictions in Screen Time it doesn't remember your settings and instead behaves as if you chose the Allowed Websites Only. And it doesn't remember ones if you add them manually. I guess I'm only going to Apple, Disney, and PBS kids for a while. :D

thanks guys. I forgot to ask about outlook mobile and skype for business if anyone sues that. Company recently migrated to office 365 so kinda need those 2. I figure quite a few people probably have outlook installed but less likely for skype for business

I use both for my company ... working fine but only if you have setup them on 11.3/11.4 and then upgrade to 12. If you try installing on 12 directly everything installs fine but Outlook keeps crashing on setup (atleast for me).

Also, Word/Excel/Powerpoint are stuck on the logos once the profile is installed and you get the message that the app is now "managed". Will be trying to reinstall and reboot once I home to see if they start working.

iPhone X here...
GPS is definitively having some issues.
Usually indoors (in my house), I'm getting at least 16 meters accuracy after 20 secs max... now maximum 33m after 3 minutes.
on the highway, I'm usually at 8 meters... the best today was 17m... and sometimes it wasn't even locking to GPS.
when not moving, I usually get 3-4 meters accuracy on a perfect clear sky... now max is 17 meters.

I did a reset network settings... which sometimes fixed the problem on previous version... but it does absolutely nothing on the iOS 12 beta 1.

went back to 11.4.1 beta 1... and all is fine.
I did not even reset anything... just "upgraded" to 11.4.1 through iTunes... and pretty much everything is there.

Wait.... you’re saying in ITunes you just choose upgrade while holding control ( or windows equivalent) and choose the 11.4.1 ispw and it “upgraded” your phone essentially reverting back to iOS 11?

EDIT - so got really curios and just tested this on my iPad that I upgraded to iOS 12.. and it worked! downloaded the iOS 11.4.1 ispw - loaded up iTunes - hold option on my Mac and choose "upgrade" and it goes through the motions and "upgrades" it / reverts to iOS 11.4.1..

so those who need to go back (maybe due to exchange bugs)... looks like there's a somewhat clean way back!

For GPS related issue, you can try Reset Location & Privacy

Correct!

Done this many times and even last update before 11.4.1 came out. You won't lose nothing.

Odd issue. Could be worse. In cellular section you can literally swipe on almost anything and it’ll give the option to delete.

Ha! I’m too scared to actually swipe all the way in case it actually deletes something from there and I want it later but yeah, that’s a quirky one.

GPS seems problematic for me
- Whilst apple maps, google maps show location, it isn't at high accuracy even outdoors
- on my watch 'current location in weather is showing completely the wrong temp. forcing location works. may be related or could be a watch bug

Otherwise the beta is lovely!

App Store bug - when you update an app, the loading circle just spins and doesn’t show you the current progress of the update (apps still update fine).

Messages bug - If you take a photo via the messages app and then use the “markup” or “effects” features and then send the photo, your recipient or yourself can zoom into the image or view the Live Photo and you will receive this error on the image.

Omg yes, same goes for siri and app activity in background. If you turn either of them off or set them to “dont allow” in the new restrictions menu, it will be completely disabled......had to set up as new to get siri back.

I had the same thing happen to me, but you can search for restrictions in settings and it takes you to the old restrictions page, where you can revert the settings, disable restrictions, and get full functionality back. It appears that they haven't fully deprecated the old restrictions page yet. No need for a restore!

The only thing I can’t figure out with this update, is how are the sources arranged on the News App. Before they were done by alphabetical order, but now they just seem to be jumbled, with no way to arrange them.
