Anyone having trouble updating a series 2 watch from watchOS beta 8 to 9? iPhone X running iOS 12 beta 11 keeps reporting error checking for update because you're not connected to the internet. No problem updating my series 3 watch.

Delete your IOS profile.. DL watchos beta ...then reinstall ios profile..

What does this “Cleaning” mean when updating apps? Clearing cache files before updating? Just curious!

I don’t understand why the “Limit Ad Tracking” feature keeps turning off for me.

I turn it on, go back to it in a minute or two and it’s been turned off automatically for no apparent reason.

Anyone know a fix for this?

Found a bug I think, someone else please confirm. iPhone X sprint on this beta can’t take a call from a landline. Turn on WiFi calling it works fine. Outgoing no issue. Can anyone test this

I personally dislike large phones. I’ve had the iPhone X since launch day and have always wished that it was thinner, lighter, and more pocketable. Oh well.

The X for now is a good size although I do miss the bigger screen of the plus phone. That being said I’ll probably never get a phone that big again.

My iphone 6 stills a little bit slow with ios 12. Some lag here and there. Is this normal considering it is a beta? Apple is suposse to give us 40% performance for older devices and it doesnt seems like they have gave us even a 20%. Should official release of ios 12 got to be better and faster than beta 11?

I was thinking of doing a clean install when release, to see if it helps with lag and stutters.

Might be normal given the amount of ram the iPhone 6 has, every device I use has at least 2 gig of ram. I haven’t seen any stutters with iOS 12 or iOS 11 for that matter.

So I was having the same issue since beta 6 or something. I submitted the feedback and apple took a lot of data for the same from my handset. After Beta 10 and 11, I have not been getting the issue. It stays on.

Can you all please do a report in the feedback app for a faster opening control center? The animation is way too slow. It should have the same speed as the iphone x animation, or atleast as fast as the notification center animation.

Or they could remove the bump at the end.

That has happened to me since iOS 11, but with beta 11 it suddenly works. It has always disturbed me for not working but I kind of got used to it for a whole year now. I was surprised when it suddenly stays on with beta 11. Hopefully it stays this way in the future.

Do you use beta 11?

I feel like I'm the only person who uses 3D touch very frequently. I agree, it's not necessary, it hasn't been well implemented (most people I know who are your average user, not really into tech) don't even know it exists. My friend who's had an iphone 6s since launch was stunned when I showed him the trackpad, the multitasking from the side of the screen, and the extra options in control centre, he had no idea it existed.

But for me, once you get into the habit of using 3D Touch properly, it kind of feels like a backwards step not having it. But fine if that's the way they go!

Does anyone else having siri running over night?

I use it frequently too. One of those nice to have, if not critical, features. Widgetizes apps to some extent.

I saw it on an update to Instagram first and hoped they were kicking out all the android users and facebook's stupid algorithm.

I can't function without the keyboard trackpad. In general I use 3D touch all the time, though.

I use it all the time too, but you can also hold the space bar and it will invoke the trackpad without 3D Touch.

So I’ve gotten a bit lost with lots of discussions on 3D Touch and the like... What I’m wondering is what is the verdict on this particular beta? I’m on PB8 on my iPhone X and iPad Pro 12.9 Gen 2. Both are working quite well. I first upgraded on my phone to PB6 when the prior version of this forum said stability and speed were both solid. I skipped PB7 when it sounded like that was a minor step back. Jumped back on for PB8 upon reading positive feedback.

However, I’m having a hard time from this particular forum determining if you all think going from PB8 to PB9 is a wise idea, or better to sit tight on PB8. Thoughts?

I use 3D touch daily, many times a day

On my X, control center opens extremely fast, including the bump at the end.

But I wouldn’t mind losing that bump. It doesn’t serve any purpose and does add a millisecond of delay.
