This close to gm and they still can’t fix the bloody music not starting from where it left off issue.

Ever since iOS 11 and Waze 4.01 and later, Waze does not play well with CarPlay in 2017 Audi A4 MMI. Radio audio does not return after Waze announcements (turn-by-turn or police ahead, etc). Sometimes, you can manually click radio and radio audio will return, but sometimes, it just has dead air.

However, when not in CarPlay (Audi requires Lightning cable) and Waze connected via Blue Tooth, everything works as it should. It's been 9 months and still not working correctly.

I provided Feedback on iOS 11 Betas as well as 12.

Audi is aware of the issue as well and has no fix at this time either. :(

Random question, but has anyone experienced iOS12/iOS in general randomly blocking someone's number?

A friend of mine was having trouble contacting his friend. Everyone else he could call and text with no problem, but his calls were ringing out and texts not going through. Turns out, he had his number blocked. He definitely didn't do it, and so is a little confused as to how it happened. I know betas do a lot of weird things, but I've never heard of it blocking a number, so I don't know if it's beta related or something else lol.

No blank badge here. I had it, then it went away after updating yesterday. It’s supposed to show up 48 hours in advance.

Follow up to this issue. I also noticed the parks badge was missing. I did a reset of my watch tonight and after it rebooted the badge showed up on the watch. I am still not seeing it on the phone though. My guess is the badge isn’t necessarily lost, just buried in the data for now. There is no way to see these badges on the watch is there? It was just a notification and it went away after the reboot. Thx

One thing that drives me nuts is when I pause music playback with the remote on the supplied Apple earphones and then a short time later I click the button again but the music does not resume I either get nothing or Siri pops up ! Is this just me ?

Has anyone noticed an issue with family screen time since tha last beta update (12)?

Before all was fine, now although I as a parent will allow apps all the time, they are still blocked on the childs phone?

Anyone else seen this?

This post is a good reason to remind everyone that this is a beta, still. Relying on it for family-critical things is probably not a good idea. Even if it worked earlier.

Performance is obviously great but still seeing some UI glitches in various places. White bar with the gray drag pill gets stuck on the keyboard after I dismiss the iMessages App Store UI, and yesterday the Settings app search bar was appearing within my Screen Time menu.

Thanks. Not in the least family-critical. I was trying out the new features in beta.

Just asking if anyone else had seen the same?

Regards

Just noticed this bug, is it new?

With the phone unlocked, pull down the lock screen less than a centimetre and release/flick up. For a brief while the lock screen version of the status bar appears over the top of the normal one. Found on iPhone 8, not sure about the X with its notched status bar.

Not a GM-stopping bug of course :p
I’d say it has been that for quite a while now, and it is not a beta issue, but like a design choice for some reason.

You think this is a design choice? Well, I submitted it anyway.

In case you weren't aware, the badge was still available. I knocked out an hour on the treadmill and got it.
I did not get it. Downgraded and completed another 50 minutes workout and got it. Others in the Apple Watch forum did not get it either.

Is anyone still having settings app issues? I open it and sometimes it freezes for a few seconds then lets me scroll down to where I want to go to. I really do not want to reset all settings as that consumes a lot of time to reset all my customized settings.

Wow, that's garbage. You still have your streak though, right?
Yes. Don’t know how it happened, but it appears iCloud health merely backs up the data, and not the settings of the application. So although the activity app changed with iOS 12, it somehow reconverted all the data back to the activity app in iOS 11. It even retained the first 50 minute workout I did in the morning.

Same here on my iPhone X
