Nope my Homepod is not having any issues at all. I have Two Homepod working in stereo and both working fine with siri

its the player shade, that gets stucked there, a reboot fix it.

Are you up to date on your Homepod? if it still doesn't work try to reset it

I had that in Beta 1 but so far so good in Beta not really seeing any bugs that are listed except for the the random resprings and that all

The “click one notification from Twitter, clears ALL Twitter notifications from NC” bug remains.
It’s fixed for Instagram though.

I got that with Beta 1,power cycled the phone have not seen it happen again!

Four resprings already with beta 2. Only one ever occured with beta 1. Happens whenever I exit an app, doesn't seem to matter which one.

Yea exactly, that's what I am thinking. I have moved far away from tinkering with my products. I don't necessarily need new features as that's not why I choose iOS, I just want things to work as expected. That's all I care about today.

If I didn't have my Watch (which I didn't with past betas), I'd jump onto the beta but I'm paranoid and don't want the beta to mess with my activity data or workout tracking, etc since I run 5 days a week. September should be fun...I'll get the GM when that's out for sure.

Why is this so hard to fix? I'm a developer myself and I don't understand why they can fix this. I think it's time to Apple to contract decent developers

I was having issues earlier today, seems to be working again now so I don't think it was beta related.

Good to hear. Not able to test HomePod at the moment, but I do think this was beta related.

It was working perfectly until beta 2, unless all HomePod owners were affected I am thinking maybe the beta changed the Siri voice relay server or some other remote service which did not have enough capacity to deal with the traffic, hence why it sometimes worked.

Not for me, Siri just read a message for me while I was driving a few minutes ago.

Wow. This beta reconnects to cellular really fast.

I take the subway a lot, so I’m constantly having to toggle airplane mode on/off to force the phone to reconnect to LTE whenever I get to each stop (no cell service in the tunnels, only at the platforms at each stop). This beta reconnects almost instantly and I don’t have to bother “forcing” it to connect.

That’s really great for me.

Looks like the tunnel needs some upgrade for cellular connectivity. Here in Sydney, tunnel is not the issue user being disconnected from LTE.

This is insanely great ! Siri has used machine learning to be more human and now says human like responses and does nothing just like a lazy human ! Lol

Went back to 11.4 to many major issues gps failed for me last night and got lost, homepods dont work with siri and carplay doesn't work right its a shame cos i was loving the speed of beta 2 im gonna wait to beta 3 or public beta and hope they are fixed

Siri went back to normal on all devices including Homepod yesterday at around 3PM.
