They changed it several times.

I'm on the most recent WatchOS 5 DP3 in the UK, and mine says Cinema.

Interesting. How do you know it’s changed? I can’t see any reference to cinema or theatre anywhere so I’m obviously missing something. Thx

They introduced the feature in WatchOS 4 and throughout the previews/betas it changed from theatre mode worldwide to then being cinema mode for the UK (and probably others) and back again. I'll check my wife's watch later but sure hers says cinema mode on watchOS 4

The until evening or morning works for you?, for me it stays until I shut off the mode.

Not sure, as I’ve never tried it. Bedtime takes care of my nighttime notifications and in the rare instances I want to curb notifications during the day, it’s only for an hour or so.

Beta 3 has resolved my 2 issues (iPhone X):
- GPS now fully working
- Personal Hotspot. TomTom Satnav uses it for live traffic info, wasn’t able to maintain the connection on Beta 2, now stays connected.
Funnily enough, didn’t experience a single springboard crash with Betas 1 and 2, but just had one in Beta 3...
Otherwise, another very stable build!

Went back to 11.4. Couldn't deal with the time and date disappearing from the lock screen. That's the only reason why I went back. Other than that, it was going very well. iPhone X 256.

Weighing up the evidence of a) the maps being clearly more detailed in side by side comparisons, b) Apple saying they were switching in SoCal this week and c) It saying TomTom in the information box I’m going to have to go with a) and b) as the more compelling evidence here.

Agreed. I think everything outside of the SF area is still using the old Tom Tom maps, so 99% of the maps are provided by Tom Tom. I definitely think that is good enough to slap a logo on :)

iPad lock screen now has line indicating where the control center can be found like on iPhone X. Don’t remember seeing it in dev 2

GPS working now on 8 Plus and Series 2 watch (on OS 5 b3). Maps showed up on my outdoor cycle workout today and were borked previously. Also stats for speed, distance etc all working properly. Pleased!

When tapping on screen time in settings it’s not opening but instead close and go straight to home screen. Anyone else?

Separated by an Independence Day too ;)

Yep. We kicked their butts. Happy Independence Day!

I have DP3 on an older phone (5S) and just put it on my iPad mini... still exploring, but it is quite smooth for this early in the beta cycle. Still not ready to put it on my daily driver, though. I fear the inevitable "regression beta".
