iOS 12 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I’m just at my threshold of frustration for this intermittent gps issue. I can temporarily fix it by resting my location and network settings but that small process and window of downtown when it happens getting really annoying.

Seeing the same thing. Seems like a bug, as it even jumps around quite a bit while my friends’ phones are getting gps locks.

No doubt friends will be thrilled to have their batteries run down as someone else tries to determine their location! ;)

Developers pay and are entitled having updates earlier that public testers. It’s how it works and is fair.

Oh wow, that was going to be the next thing for me to try this weekend once I had some time, but I guess you saved me from having to do that. I wonder if there's a common theme? We have iCloud Family sharing on and I'm the main administrator.

I don't have documentation but when I was in Singapore I noticed that when I couldn't yet get the Beta all I had to do was to connect to my German VPN and I would get it (I didn't even have stay connected to the VPN once it was discovered). So no documentation (I guess you won't find one that is Apple-specific), but experimental verification of a pretty standard practise with international datacenters...

I have screen time enabled for my children but it only shows my apps and not theirs under the “Always Allowed” section. This isn’t very useful since they have apps I don’t use. Does anyone actually have their kids apps listed here, or is this still a feature that hasn’t been built out completely yet? And yes I have beta 3 installed on both phones.
 
A major glitch to report - on the Lock screen if I click a notification I am not asked for my 4 digit passcode. I am taken directly to the actual notification. Major security issue. Anyone else getting this?

For me it says TimeTable. Probably region related, or some other settings related.

Update: changed from UK to US English and see Schedule. (Might raise a minor bug that Timetable is maybe inconsistent with the Scheduled switch)

One thing that’s annoying is when you tap a person’s name in an iMessage thread and tap the call button, the default is FaceTime audio. I wish there was a way to call their mobile number.
