Thanks mate. That’s what I’m doing but it says my software is up to date. It’s currently showing iOS 12.0. I want beta 3 though.

First off...it’s public beta 2, not 3.

Second, if it already updated, it will still say iOS 12.

You’ll need to go to “general” and “about” to see which build you have to verify if you are still in beta 1 or if you in fact already updated to beta 2.

Kudos for this!

Do you still have the beta profile installed? There is usually a delay between the time the IPSW comes out that the OTA is available, but it's usually less than 20-30 minutes... so it should be there.

Also, there was NO public beta 1, so the numbers for the public beta are one less than the dev beta... we're currently on dev preview (beta) 3, and the comparable/equivalent public beta is v2.

3D touch starts making sense to me... scan directly into iOS Notes and continue in MacOS Notes. Nice!

Really loving how snappy my 7 Plus feels so far on the public betas. No issues to report that haven’t already been mentioned, except that my modem firmware and carrier versions aren’t consistent with the wiki post:

Modem: 2.04.08
Carrier: T-Mobile 32.5.17

Has anyone found that you can’t interact with web pages in the area just above the keyboard?

To give an example, if I line up the Post Reply button as shown in my attached pic, nothing happens when I tap it, but if I scroll it up a bit it’s fine.

Yes,

Exactly same for me.

Seems T-Mobile carrier version downgraded from 32.5.18 on dev beta 2 to 32.5.17 on beta 3/pb 2

No. That is a myth and does not do anything. The reboot after doing so it what kicks it in not the reinstalling the profile.

And yet I rebooted 5 times with the its not appearing. Deleted profile and reinstalled and it was there so you are wrong

Ingress another game by the Pokémon Go developer Niantic constantly crashes and freezes on iOS 12 betas.

OP can you add it to the third party app issues list?

I want to try the beta but can someone who is using it check for me to see if the Disneyland Park app is working ok with it? I ask since I’m going o Disneyland pretty soon. Thanks in advanced!

One thing that’s annoying is when you tap a person’s name in an iMessage thread and tap the call button, the default is FaceTime audio. I wish there was a way to call their mobile number.
I get two options. One is voice call and the other Facetime audio. I believe beta 1 did not give you an option and defaulted to facetime.

I tried the Disney World app and it works alright. A little slow but that may just be the app. I haven’t used it in a while.

I have the same phone and it’s feeling almost new. Really happy with iOS 12 so far. Hope they don’t bork it up.

According to the battery graphs, my battery went down from 97% to 58% in an hour with just 28 minutes of on screen usage.

Is anyone else seeing battery life as bad as this?

Were you playing Pokémon go with the screen cranked all the way up? Then I could see it maybe dropping half that fast. Otherwise no that seems extreme. Remember. Beta. Lots of weird stuff going to happen.

Is there an IPSW for the public beta?

This post isn't very helpful.....
Deliberately so, I suspect. There are a great many posts about it in this thread and an entire thread devoted to this issue in the iOS 12 forum.

Maybe not... was thinking of the dev beta. Sorry.
No need to apologize...I wasn't sure either. I've seen people talking about getting the public IPSW file and thought it might be a thing.
