Experiencing an occasional bug whereby tap to wake doesn’t work but I can feel 3D Touch working at the specified locations (notifications). A couple of clicks to the side button fixes it. Haven’t seen it mentioned but will file a report

I’m updating to Beta 4 now. I will let you all know if they fixed the contacts bug.

Do you guys mean in your imessages on your watch? Mine still shows just the telephone numbers.

+1. Public Beta 3 (16A5327f), Watch series 3, watchOS 4.3.2.

Contacts have synced to my Watch again.

What watchOS?

I've restarted phone and watch, no improvement in messages already showing on watch, or new messages received...still no contacts on watch, and siri can't handle things like "text my wife" since it doesn't know the contact info needed to identify that relationship.

it works for me now.. I am on watchos5 beta 4 ..some have said it works with 4.3.2 but I cannot go backwards to test it..

I’ve noticed since iOS 12 when listening to music using the music app, the battery drains faster when listening through the iPhone speakers. It drains normally if I’m using headphones or it’s connected to my cars Bluetooth. Anyone else have this issue. I’ve been reporting it since the 1st beta and it hasn’t been fixed!

Has anyone else had an issue with trouble tapping “Done” after taking a screenshot? This has happened to me sporadically on several different betas and was fine for a while, but seems to be back in this one. It finally moves on after 3 or 4 taps.

I have generally had an issue with tap targets over the past few betas. Getting the screen to react to hitting the buttons located at the top like the ones I’ve highlighted below has been very difficult at times.

iOS 12 beta 4 pretty stable for me on my A1901 iPhone X.

Let’s see if that continues through the next couple of weeks. Had some frequent re springs in beta 3. While using CarPlay, if I used the bottom bar to swipe between apps, the phone would crash and take a while to reboot.

As to be expected with any beta, but I think it’s pretty smooth for the most part.

View attachment 771443 Yeah I’ve got the missing Bluetooth icon as well and about 5 odd Bluetooth connections that show connected. Not sure where the heck that is coming from but it’s new today and updating

I am still not getting my contacts on my apple warxh with PB3 and IPX. does anyone have any suggestions of how to rectify? I have already restarted my phone and watch and it didn’t work.

I had a very weird issue with iMessage were 2 of my message threads merged together. I had a thread for iMessage from my mom. My dad messaged me and my moms iMessage thread disappeared. Once I messaged my mom, both threads merged together.

Couple of regressions for me in this beta that I’ve reported.

- Tap targets on the phone sometimes fail. Only noticed in Safari or apps using webviews so far. Restarting the app and/or locking and unlocking usually gets you on your way
- Tap targets on the iPad very often fail and it seems to be aggravated by the hardware keyboard (I can only vouch for magic keyboard). Quite often, again especially in Safari or other webviews, I can’t tap but pulling they keyboard up off the connector allows me to tap them.

A bit irritating but that’s betas for you (I just had to lift my keyboard to tap Post Reply!)

This is by far the most aggravating bug in an otherwise smooth and polished beta.

Quite annoying. First time I separated the iPad keyboard and the tap worked I thought, “Nah, coincidence” but after the second and the third I was confident enough to add it to the feedback. Hopefully fixed in the next beta, but you never know.

(I couldn’t tap Post Reply without separating it again )
