When you tap a contact in an iMessage conversation, it finally lets you choose between a voice call and FaceTime audio. Before it just did a FaceTime audio call by default. Glad that was changed, it was annoying.
No, I'm not. I'm on 11.4.1.You are using a beta. A beta. Wait for the official release before whining.
When scrolling through attachments sent in a message thread (going to info and scrolling), it always bounces up to the top no matter how slow/fast you scroll. It's impossible to find a picture you've sent. anyone else have this issue? I believe it's been a bug since before ios 11.
Then you should probably post here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...anges-and-improvements.2126677/#post-26226740No, I'm not. I'm on 11.4.1.
11.4.1, since we apparently need to unnecessarily repeat ourselves.
And where do you see "whining"?
My post was in reference to iOS 12. I used the first three betas with the first two being a pleasure to use. Based on what I've read, the bugs have continued to pile up in each subsequent beta. Reading other people's experiences with iOS 12 in this thread will ultimately decide whether or not I choose to update my X from it's native shipping version. Then you should probably post here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-11-4-1-―-bug-fixes-changes-and-improvements.2126677/#post-26226740
Hi,
from the first beta of iOS 12 I have a problem with AppStore. Every game or app I already buy or download but I don't have installed, is showed like I never buy/download it. Only if I buy again, a message appear to alert me that the download is free because I already bought in past. Also in my apps the list of already downloaded apps is empty. Last but not least, the update tab in AppStore is very slow to show and start every time with a blank page.
Someone experience same situation?
*Sorry for my english!
12.0.2Apple usually pushes around 10 betas before the final release right? Roughly what beta do you guys think is typically a good safe number to dabble where I won't deal with excessive crashing or issues?
For pretty much all other versions of iOS betas (iOS 7-11), I'd offer just don't do it, wait until the official release of the x.1 at the latest or x.0.2 at the earliest - but IMO iOS 12 has been pretty much the most-stable iOS beta I've tested. With iOS 11 betas I gave up and reverted to iOS 10 (some of my company's older devices are still on iOS 10 FWIW).Apple usually pushes around 10 betas before the final release right? Stock Live Wallpapers don’t seem to working - or am I doing something wrong
beta 4 was bad, beta 5 is somehow worse. YMMV.Does it get better than beta4???
I'm on beta3 that is worse than beta1&2
Do you recommend to update now?
Yup. Pretty much any action, but especially loading and switching to the app will cause a long delay in taps being accepted and/or UI freeze.Anyone having issues with the Instagram app not working? I keep getting “couldn’t refresh feed” error.
A good amount of people, including myself, are seeing resprings only in the messages app when either typing or hitting send. Not sure if this is where you are experiencing the resprings?
i know its a beta and yes ive passed info onto apple,. but this is the worst beta so far on my X lots of re springs. just a warning to others wanting to install it![]()
It’s bizarre because I haven’t had one on the latest beta. Not on any of the others either . It would suggest it may be app related?!? Same with battery problems I haven’t noticed any drop in battery performance either. Normally end the day with about 60% with about 4-5 hours of screen time.
