The GPS in Maps was almost completely unresponsive for the first 15 miles of my 65 mile drive this am. I opened GPSDiagnostic which restarts the GPS radio. After that it was 100% spot on

Maps also now seems to offer 3 routes and specifies the time for each on CarPlay. That looked new to me.

I'm having location issues again also. I have a bunch of notifications for motion sensors and door and windows sensors at home, set to only notify me when no-one is home, that keep firing. I'll use GPSDianostic next time to see if it stops it. Great tip!

My iphone 7 has gotten a bit better with each consecutive beta. This is the best so far, battery is improved, flipping from landscape to portrait is even quicker and smoother. Liking it alot. One thing I thought was going to be an issue was that blank screen when opening settings. First time after updating I had that. I closed it out, reopened and still there so let it sit and after about 45 sec it went into the settings app as usual. So far today after a couple of reboots it is completely gone and settings opens in a mili second everytime. Sweet. No complaints about anything, best beta yet!

Screen time app limit and down time don’t work as it should. My kid is able to use the phone as normal after it’s passed the limits. I checked my kids phone, but nothing unusual to find. It says in my kids phone under screen time the same limits as I put in, but nothing happens when it’s supposed to block at down time or when screen time is used up.

My issue is with Bluetooth. Already sent in feedback. It would turn off and back on every 30 seconds to a minute and drop all the connections including with my watch and airpods.

Anyone having issues with "Wi-Fi Calls on Other Devices"? Can't get my iPad nor MBP to place calls without my iPhone active. Tried toggling it on and off, restarting, etc. but no dice.

edit: Toggled it a few more times and now it's working. No issues on the beta here. (Also my first post here in... five years?)

Anyone also experiencing misaligning of text? Happens all the time.

Volume of phone ringer is barely audible even if the volume is set to maximum in Settings.

I cannot update my Apps on the iPhone AppStore. Is there a solution (completly wipe the phone or update app via Mac)?

Perhaps one specific app is stalled and causing the others to back up behind it? Try removing the app with the oldest update and see if the ones since will then update? (Just throwing ideas out here)

Is anyone else’s Bluetooth indicator a little faded? It’s light blue in this beta to show it’s connected rather than the royal blue variant.

EDIT: LOL! Missed it on the release notes

Why do you need the ringer to sound full volume after you've looked the phone?

If it bothers you that much you can always disable the attention aware features in settings.
I think I have not explained my problem properly.
The ringer volume is not audible - even when the phone is locked, or the phone is unlocked.
The incoming call is displayed on the home screen but without an audible sound even if the settings have kept the ringer sound at maximum.
This issue has started since beta 6 and was not occurring in earlier betas.

I was under the impression you were using an iPhone X and the ringer volume was dropping after a second or two. Seems the other poster interpreted it the same.

If this isn't the case, report it to Apple and move on. If it's too inconvenient, revert to Beta 5. Nothing to get upset about here.
