My issue is with Bluetooth. Already sent in feedback. It would turn off and back on every 30 seconds to a minute and drop all the connections including with my watch and airpods.
Same issue here on an iPhone 7.

Any with flicker camera in iPhone X , when point Led o tungsten tubes, in beta 5 didnt happen

Did the home bar always cover the pictures in messages photos in previous betas? I don’t remember but it looks cramped and like there should be a space between photo selector and homebar.

I’m not sure if his has been mentioned but PiP videos now have rounded corners, along with slightly rounded corners on scaled up iPhone apps.

The number of changes designed for the new iPad Pros reminds me of iOS 9, with features for the original iPad Pro.
Both gave away the (at the time, already known) changes for the respective upcoming model, but iOS 12 is arguably more impactful in terms of system wide changes (rather than new features).

Having an issue where apps are downloading extremely slow, and when I try to update I get “unable to check for update” errors.

Anyone have a solution? Super frustrating. Tried redownloading the dev beta profile, and have hard reset my phone a couple times. Seems possibly iCloud related but I’ve also tried signing out and then back in.
Same issue, extremely frustrating.

anyone on beta 6 experience Messages quick reply often go blank or hang?

The latest iOS 12 beta is running well for me, although its battery drain on my iPhone X seems more severe than any of the others to date. I don't know if there's a rogue app or whatever but it seems to zip down when I'm doing much of anything on it.

I just had my first respring (on any of the iOS12 betas):

My work mail (Exchange) suddenly wouldn't send a mail, saying that the "connection to the server had been lost". Nothing helped, and a couple of minutes after, I noticed it had also lost connection with my gmail-account.

So I rebooted the phone, went into mail.app and it connected fine to both accounts again. It automatically tried to send the mail after it reconnected, and then BAM, respring. As mentioned, the first I've had on any beta of iOS12.
After the respring, I checked, and the mail had indeed been sent :)

I have no idea what caused the mail-problem initially.

Screen time app limit and down time don’t work as it should. My kid is able to use the phone as normal after it’s passed the limits. I checked my kids phone, but nothing unusual to find. It says in my kids phone under screen time the same limits as I put in, but nothing happens when it’s supposed to block at down time or when screen time is used up.

Any chance they are adjusting the system time on the phone? There’s another thread where a parent pointed out that simply changing the system time to something outside of the downtime settings keeps everything functional.

I wanted to try out the PB but would like someone to tell me If (generally) apps tend to crash or freeze. Sick of the battery drain on iOS 11.
For me not one app yet, all seem to work fine.
Battery drain is somewhat higher than the latest version of iOS 11 with which I was getting really good battery life: some days' I went home from work with +70% left, whereas this was typically less than 50% with earlier versions (and similar use). With this beta I'm back to the ±50% left when going home (could also be partially due to looking into new things I keep noticing :) )

Found an odd issue with the X and I can’t confirm if it’s iOS related or hardware related.

Basically have the Bluetooth on the X switched on impacts 2.4ghz WiFi performance by nearly 5%. 5ghz is unaffected.

I have 3mbps fibre and pull circa 29 down/15 up. This screenshot is an average test.

On 2.4ghz I pull as follows with Bluetooth OFF (switched off in settings)

Your screenshot isn't very helpful but sounds like that's a typical BT/wifi co-existence issue. From a popular router firmware site:

Bluetooth Coexistence

"An 802.11 device and Bluetooth can interfere with each other when the 802.11 device operates on the 2.4 GHz band. All Bluetooth devices operate at the 2.4 GHz band. If you experience wireless disconnects, decreased range or speed, and other connectivity issues when you turn on some of your Bluetooth devices, try to change this option to "Enable" (this will make the router and Bluetooth device to take turns in using the spectrum for communication) or "Preemption" (the router will inform the Bluetooth device about the channel it is operating on, and the Bluetooth device can preemptively disable communication on the respective Bluetooth channels).
Please note that this option requires your Bluetooth device to "cooperate". If the Bluetooth device doesn't implement the coexistence techniques, using this option will have no effect."

I had no issue with iOS 12 until dev beta 6 came out. The instant that update finished installing I started having trouble with Uber driver app. Deleting the Uber app, rebooting and reinstalling will usually make it work until you go offline. When you attempt to go online again it will give the location spoof message.

I don’t think it’s exactly an issue with the iOS 12 gps. Google Maps app works fine as does every other app I’ve tried that location is the primary use.

Anyone else?

I got this also on iOS 11. It has nothing to do with iOS or Apple, it’s Bluetooth related.

So, five betas in and iOS 12 is still slow as **** on the iPhone 5s. I do not understand why Apple engineers do not consider this to be a serious problem... customers are not going to buy a new iPhone in the future if Apple don't make an effort to optimise newer versions of iOS for older hardware.

I'd quite frankly much rather not have newer versions of iOS if it's going to slow the bloody thing down.

This is my first iPhone, and it will have to be my last if the GM doesn't improve this ****.

Why isn’t Apple focusing their resources on a device that’s 5 years old? Can’t possibly think of why.

Sorry but this is laughable. Go get yourself a five year old Android phone and install the latest software and let us know how it runs for ya.

Oh wait...

Ok, let’s see if I got this right.
You have an iPhone 5s and it’s your first ever iPhone. Now, you’re on beta software and think you’re phone is too slow. Hence that fact, you consider never ever buying a new(er) iPhone. Right?
