I didn’t think what I’m about to ask warrants another thread, but I was wondering if in notes app you still have to use the shortcuts bar for font and table options in ios12? Anyone on beta can confirm?

I’ve installed beta 8 on my iphone 6 yesterday and it was super smooth. But now, it seems like is getting hot again and the lag came back. I hope apple fix this in the GM.

Pd: my iphone 6 just has 500mb free. Does it afect the performance ?

A lot of people have commented on the fact that they are getting much better battery life which of course is great news.
My question is how do you know?
Where are you going to find out just how long your battery is lasting.
I find the new battery display very confusing and not easy to read.
TIA

Same for me...kind of annoying...
I’m having a similar notification issue, but mine is with Yahoo! Sports. It’s notifying me over and over again about the same change in score.

Of course, I’m a Mets fan and they’ve scored 21 runs so far today (after 16 yesterday) so maybe the app broke from shock.

Anybody having issues with iMessage today? Seeing “Waiting for activation” under Messages in Settings.

Edit: Seems a reset of network settings fixed the issue.

Why do I get NO vibration feedback from either of these past betas when accessing empty app drawer? iP X.

What a ridiculous post!

In this thread we focus on what Apple is providing us—iOS 12.
And what a ridiculous reply! If you read my post, You'll notice that I respond to someone who hesitate to upgrade from 11.4.1 to ios 12 beta 8, so I just tell him my thoughts about a beta and if its worth it on a daily driver.

Totally. Now instead of having the usage times and standby you need to go back to when you were last fully charged on the graph and then select each individual hour and add up the screen on and off usage time manually to get your correct numbers. Otherwise everything just bleeds together with the last 24 hours. Not very useful IMO compared to how it used to be with the usage and standby times since last fully charged. I wish they would revert back to how it was.

Still, for my iPad Pro 2, I can not corner pull down the control center when any app is open. It can be done on the home screen or from the Notification Center. It is as if the “iOS 11”, “Access within apps” settings option was turned off. ... cut ...

Edit: Well what do you know, in this latest iOS 12 beta version that option in now available. It was not there pre-public beta 6. Solution was to turn on the new option.

I don’t receive notifications from Couchsurfing. Did somebody else notice this? Before upgrading from public beta 5 it was ok

I found another bug. I cannot search for songs in my library, the only option I have is Apple Music. In other builds it was exactly the opposite, I was not able to search for songs in Apple Music

This is the best iOS release to date. Best battery life of all iOS 12 betas and Bluetooth works fine.
Search in local Music works too, I have Applemusic disabled since i don't use it.

Only update I'm thinking about after IOS 12 is "upgrading" from this 64gb to a 256gb lol
[doublepost=1534374978][/doublepost]Can someone speak about their experience with a 5S and IOS12?
My son’s 5S with a £5 battery I replaced and iOS12 is really decent.

It works fine for me.
Note that the text ”Apple Music” in the search field is the default search option. If you click the search field you will be presented with an option to choose where you want to search. It’s not a bug.

I get the 2 options too (like usually) if I close and reopen the app. It is the first time this happens. In public beta 4 it happened the other way 2 times, but since then it worked properly. Anyway, I’ve reported it to Apple, I hope it will get fixed
