nothing here. NVM I had auto updates turned off. Turned back on and it works.

It says public beta 6. Guess that make sense since we never got 7 on Monday.

Absolutely no app-opening delay or freezes (yet) on PB 6. Can't yet discern any difference from PB 5, but very fast and very slick nonetheless.

I have been using the previous PB on my iPad Air 2 since a bit more than a week and I was already quite impressed by the improvements in overall fluidity (compared to iOS 11) and the stability, so I decided to upgrade my iPhone 8+ as well and wow it's amazing. I've never seen such a nice beta before.

I really wish Apple would just label a beta build with one number, the same for developer and public. So what if the public stream starts on a 2 or a 3 etc.? As a public beta tester you either have an understanding of how these things work or you just don’t care. Many people join the beta program late in the day anyway, starting on a 4 or 5 or whatever. Worst case is someone joining at the start thinks they missed the very first one, but... so?

Anyway...
