Developer beta 8 is the same as public beta 6 since public beta started with dev beta 2 and dev beta 7 was skipped due to performance issue

Buttery smooth and super snappy on my X. But I feel like I have to press extra hard on my keyboard to move the cursor. Anyone else experiencing this? I’m gonna toy with 3D Touch settings, toggle it back and forth and see what happens.

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed. Tried to reset all keyboard and 3d touch settings but cant find a fix. It’s especially very bad when you type something and have to use the cursor immediately after you type, then you get like a 2 sec delay......

I'm on the previous public beta (not the one that was released yesterday, form about a week ago) and the phone sometimes hangs/freezes or goes completely black like it's bricked and needs a couple minutes to reset itself before it's operational again. Anyone else getting that? Does this beta fix it?

I was watching a video in full- screen when Safari took me out of the full- screen mode to show me this pop up. Is this a new security measure from iOS 12?

Battery life is amazing for this release, I really hope Apple keep the good work and iOS 12 maybe will have a chance to become the best release ever

I wasn't typing anything. I was watching a full-screen video.
The wording is indeed very unusual for Apple but for that kind of prompt it would make sense.

Just finished the install from 11.4.1 to beta 8. Definitely noticeable improvements in smoothness and speed. Wish the beta had the Shortcuts app built in.

Not sure if it’s been commented: this is the first beta in which “Today” tab in the Appstore shows more than just the last day.

My iPad Pro on 12b6 doesn’t do that but my X running 11.4.1 does show the past weeks worth of days

I thought voice memos was broken the other days as the recording would start but the timeline would never increase and on playback it’s silent

Yep, that's exactly what happens. It was definitely working in the last beta for me, I use it quite often.

Voice memos are working for me. Have you tried to delete the app and reinstall it?

Carplay doesn’t show any map data. Just the grid is shown when navigation is active.
Audi A4 model year 2016.
This was working in the last Betas.
Reboot and hard reset doesn’t fix this issue.

This beta (PB6) working very smooth on ip7. Call quality has been improved a lot over PB5 and over all very fluid.
