Tried your suggestion and didn't work. It's been like this since the release of the GM. I even updated via .ipsw.
Have you sign out of iCloud and sign back in? That’s all I got  I heard it’s a temporary fix but no specific on what causes it though

So here's an odd one.

I re-installed the GM from an IPSW, set up my phone as new and restored from iCloud and now the HSBC UK and the HSBC worldwide apps crash on launch.

They worked perfectly throughout all beta releases and on the GM via OTA. Anyone have any experience with this and somehow got them to work?

Much appreciated.

Yes on Twitter hsbc said they will be updated on launch day

What does that mean?? Where is it?

You need a developers account then you can access it via TestFlight.

I have a dev account and requested access, but never got anything... it shows "requested" on my dev site Downloads page... my dev Apple ID is different from my iTunes Store Apple ID, and suspect that it is somehow related to my inability to get the app, but not sure how to resolve it... and now that the GA release is imminent, it's probably not a big deal.

You're assuming they actually release it Monday... ;)

... yes, and?

*cough* iMessge in the Cloud *cough*

Sorry everyone. My fault. When I said the Shortcuts GM was out and “get ready” I didn’t mean to imply that it was generally available, I really meant that this was a good sign that it would be released generally next week. Sorry for the confusion.

Question for all of you on iOS 12: NBC is reporting that FEMA will be testing a new alert next Thursday that allows a US President to send a message directly to most cell phone users. My Notifications section only shows Amber and Emergency Alerts. Does iOS 12 have a Presidential Alert section you can toggle on/off?

For the sake of forum rules, a yes or no answer is all I am asking without opinions on the current US administration. I want to stay on topic regarding iOS 12. Thanks

The current options are:

Settings > Notifications > Government Alerts
• Amber Alerts
• Emergency Alerts

There are some apps updating today to take advatange of Siri Shortcuts and other iOS 12 features. More apps should start rolling out over the next few days.

Sometimes I am not able to search for music in "Apple Music", only in "Your Library". I've had this problem in other betas too. Yes, I am connected to internet and have Apple Music subscription. Does this happen to anybody else too?

I am not seeing any Government Alerts under Notification. Is this available only for US?

Well I thought maybe iOS has some kind of basic emergency alert system that each government can use for their people, and US based devices could possible have more advanced system, but actually there is no advanced emergency system, it's basic and only available in the US.

They should though, emergencies can hit any country or region not only US.

I would imagine that Apple implemented the function in their platform and that any country (or perhaps any government entity) could take advantage of the Apple piece of this, provided they have the infrastructure in place in their countries/locale. This particular alert/test is more a FEMA thing than an Apple thing, I would imagine.

just installed it on my iPhone and now an half hour later i get a message that my iPhone is full. 20 GB of system! i cannot even open any apps anymore.

also strange when i connect it to my macbook. it says it is trying to install some update and that i should close itunes "1 object installing"

It did when I first updated to iOS 12. It’s been fine since then.

Probably you are right.

I have noticed the same behavior when I connected my iPhone X (from iOS 11.4.1 to iOS 12) first time to my Mac. It was downloading some kind of software and installing. But I have no idea what it was downloading and why. The pop up window was showing an iPhone and downloading bar then installing bar. Really wondering what it was downloading!

edit:
iPhone was fully updated to iOS 12
and latest Itunes version installed on Mac
so it was something else..

There is a component that iTunes will need to install to work properly with iOS 12 for macs. If you download and run Xcode it will install the required components. There is an iTunes 12.9 update for PC but Mac may receive it maybe prior to Mojave release in 2 weeks.
