I've searched Twitter and Googled '12.0.1 Esteban Serrano' and '12.0.1 Esteban' and 'ios Esteban Serrano' and I get no results at all. Can you share a link to the tweet where you saw this information? I would like to follow this person on Twitter if he ends up being correct.

The beta is fine on my devices. Just back up your phone and try it. Worse case, you go back to 12.

Not true. Activity is not fixed in 12.1. That is still promised in the “next” software update. 12.1 is at least 4 weeks away. There is always a X.0.1 before X.1.

The original question was when will there be 12.0.1 to fix charging, and it's resolved in 12.1 beta. Out of context is the worst context.
