The original question was when will there be 12.0.1 to fix charging, and it's resolved in 12.1 beta. Out of context is the worst context.
If you would read the entire quote you responded to, you will see the charging issue wasn’t the only one in that post. So you are right, context does matter.

So the Twitter account exists but it's basically a fake one? Or there isn't one to begin with?
Sorry, it was completely made up. It was a half-arsed attempt at satire but due to aforementioned half-arsedness it read as a pretty straight post. I must say I did have a giggle at some of the replies but ultimately regret it as it had no purpose and wasn’t that funny in and of itself. Please accept my apology.

Well, based on this new article, I don't see any release earlier than this Friday or more likely next week.

At least they are working on it. And are aware of it.

What if they release 12.1 next week? I went to my carrier to get an esim and they told me that even though they are technically ready Apple has not activated it yet but it will come with an update probably on October 10...

Doubtful they'll release 12.1 that early in the beta cycle but anything can happen, I guess.

No, the timelaps between db and pb are to far. Public release is several weeks away.

I think they will release 12.0.1 very soon as they have fixed the charging issue with iOS 12.1 beta 2 and not everybody is going to update to a beta...

What does that mean? Beta 1 PB was one day later and beta 2 was the same day. Not that I think a release will be next week but not because of that statement.

[edit] beta 1 pb was two days later not one.

Was pb released the same day as db? My bad. So sorry. Then you can ignore my theory.

While I'm not expecting a network connection fix anytime soon, because of Apple's outreach. I still think 12.0.1 is coming "soon". It is very unlike Apple to make people wait 4+ weeks for a bug fix (charging issue) and they likely used 12.1B2 to test it to make sure it works. 12.1B2 is still missing the activity badge fix.
