They have the charge thing sorted out so my guess is they are working on the reception issues some are having. Ill hold of and upgrade to 12.0.1 or 12.1 beta 3 which ever comes first. We could still get 12.0.1 tomorrow.

They just started outreach on the cellular issue. We won't see a fix for that for at least a week.

Maybe they are waiting on that then so could be another week. I know how to work around the charge issue and I don’t really have the reception issue so I’ll just wait.

That being said, I upgraded to the beta on my Max and my LTE resuming issues on Verizon fully resolved. At least over the last 24h.

Ahhh I’m so tempted to get the beta...for some reason I’m always weird about getting the betas right after I get my new iPhone...usually by the time the .2 updates come out I’m over the fear haha

Did you sign up for Shortcuts 2.1 beta? I just heard about it and applied.

Gotta say iOS 12.1b2 has helped with my Max and the only LTE issue I wasn having which was resuming LTE connections after coming off WiFi or after losing a signal (elevators, subway). Basically as reliable as my X now.

they could have released 12.0.1 with the acitivity badges fixed then 12.0.2 later with the LTE/wireless issues fixed instead of making us wait weeks for all the fixes in 12.0.1 or 12.1; whichever apple ends up releasing first.

Apple is (of course) smart enough NOT to send out an update to hundreds of millions of people just for some missing activity badges and then shortly release another update with more important fixes.

Relax—an update will come when ready!
