Hoping that either the gm or another beta today...they did the same thing last year, forgot people on the public beta would be upgrading their phones to the x, the x didn’t have a restore image or ota update on servers on release and nobody could restore their phones from backups since their old phone was on the beta and no way to upgrade the new phone’s os, how iOS 11.2 beta 2 was released.

Someone on another thread said a carrier told him iOS 12.1 will be out in the 27th. I doubt it as that’s a Saturday.
Maybe that’s when they would start officially activating esim? What thread was it AT&T or a European company ?

Someone in this thread mentioned 29th:
Basically a UK network EE 2nd line customer services have told a customer that eSIM will be available from the 29th.

So 12.1 has to be released either on Friday for the XR or Monday which would be my guess.

i think it depends on if any show stopper bugs are found after 12.1 is released. if none 12.2 will be next.

I wonder if 12.1 will release today only for the fact the DST bug in Watch OS is going to hit the UK this Sunday..

its annoying when people act like they know lol would love today but im thinking Monday or Tuesday
Only reason I said something today was because anyone on the beta that bought the Xr is unable to restore their backup, if the Xr wasn’t released I would say next week for the next release.

Looking on the Dev Portal there isn't even a 12.0.1 image for the XR....

As much as I'd love a proper release today, there's zero buzz about it being today, anywhere. I have to agree, today is either unlikely, or the drop will be a surprise to everyone. Here's hoping for the latter.
