No it wasn't :-( ... I'm really looking forward to seeing what they release with PB 3. It would be amazing if they released a SIRI Shortcuts App with this release. I don't think they will, but I live in hope.

it won't be. only for Developers/test flight still.

Yeah, I thought that may have been the case. I'm dying to try it out, but I'm not going to pay the fee for a developer account again just for a beta. I'll wait ... damn it lol

Really truly: download Workflow (free!!) and try it there. Virtually indistinguishable right now.

I already have created a few. I copied one from the WWDC presentation. I was hoping the new Shortcuts app made the workflows run without an app opening and running the commands like workflow does, if you get what I mean. A seemless workflow behind the "scene" would be awesome.

Wouldn't be surprised. Finally assembly for the next iPhone models will probably start some time in August. I imagine it would have to be ready to go by at least mid-August.

You'd be surprised. Last year, the new iPhones went on sale on 9/22 (barring iPhone X due to the initial year delays). While hardware components are manufactured before September, most complete iPhones can be loaded with iOS up to the last week before the devices ship in early-mid September. Last year, iOS 11 GM was released to developers on 9/19, but we know internally to Apple it was probably finalized at least by 9/12 if not a little earlier.

Finalizing iOS for the new devices isn't typically a big deal because we almost always see an X.0.1 update within a few days or a week of the GM and/or public release of any major iOS version, which coincides with the release of the new iPhones.

Yes but when is iOS loaded? Before the phone goes in the box or after? After seems like a much more Herculean effort than loading them up as they roll down the assembly line.
