Hopefully it fixes the mail app but I wont hold my breath.
Someone on the main thread MacRumours started said it didn't. I'm sure Apple would have added something vague like "fixes rare Mail issues regarding notifications" or some such.

I'm going to wait it out, keeping my beta profile installed, patiently waiting for 13.2.

Can’t even get it to install. I’ve tried twice and each time it goes to the Apple logo with a spinner, the spinner freezes for a second and then the phone reboots and it says it couldn’t install, and to retry. But when you do retry it doesn’t work and you have to redownload the update.

Is it heating up super hot doing light basic tasks? Hopefully this was fixed.
How about the frame drops swiping between home screens? Has that been cleaned up?

Yea, one of the things I noticed from 13 and 13.1 was the choppiness on the homescreen swiping. That appears to be working better as of now (as well as opening apps, menus, etc seems snappier).

With 13 and 13.1, links were super sensitive while scrolling - while scrolling on a page as soon as you touched a link it would open. I think 13.1.1 fixes that. iPhone 6S

EDIT -- nope, still a problem

This is probably one of the best iOS releases on a new phone release I've seen in a very long time. My iPhone 6 and 7 Plus had stuttery animations and performance issues at launch. They were eventually resolved by the x.1 or x.2 iOS release but it was still a poor experience out of the box.

Meanwhile my iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 13 has been nearly perfect. 13.0 had a couple of very minor issues but here they are mostly fixed only a week after the phone's release. I have to commend Apple for finally getting better QC on their software.

Easy update on my X. Took a few minutes, but so far so good. No exchange mail issues for me fortunately.

Hoping for better battery life on my 11 Pro!! I’ve done everything to try to get it to improve. Others are saying it’s phenomenal. I’m not seeing phenomenal battery life.

CarPlay is now working for me with no connection issues. Still have to manually switch to using my Bluetooth devices rather than car speakers but least it doesn’t disconnect from my Apple Watch now when I do this.

Yep, same issue here.

Downloaded 13.1.1 update, it asked to install. I told it to do so, and the phone seemed like it was rebooting to do the install....but shut off. Completely. I even let it sit for a few minutes before pressing the power button to turn it back on (Apple logo & spinning wheel...followed by install of the update). Odd.

Edit: This was on my XR.

Same with mine, but I waited longer and it came back on. Weird as well. Didn't have to do a reboot, just black screened for a lot longer than normal updates.

I started to install 13.1.1 and my iPhone 8 shut off. I plugged it in to my 2017 MacBook Pro and it came back on. I have never, ever had an iPhone shut off or a black screen.

My iPhone 11 Pro shut down during the update. I had to turn the phone back on to finish the update. Weird.
