Since upgrading to iOS 13 (any version, including iPads), YouTube (the website) refuses to AirPlay video. It only projects audio. I’ve had to revert one of my devices to 12.4.1 (before Apple decides I’m not allowed to use it anymore) to restore this functionality. Invidious would be a suitable alternative, but its support of AirPlay is broken. I assume that since AirPlay of video works across other websites that this is a Google problem, but good luck getting them to fix anything.

Tried to update 13.1.1 from 13.1. iPhone 11 Pro Max. Failed twice: downloaded, got to "install", then stuck at Apple logo & spinning wheel. Hard reset recovered. 3rd try, when hit "install", said "could not install try again". Tried that twice, but this time got pop up plain old "could not install". Status back to "download".

Figured better stop before I push my luck too far. Up to this point, 13.1 seemed to make a difference on many bugs. Only problem were a couple of odd losses of internet. One was fairly long, maybe 20 minutes. Odd because 4 bars the whole time.

Anyone give up on 13.1.1?

Asking SIRI to play music is very slow on my pro max. Requests take about 5-6 seconds before anything starts to play.

Still... when you go into messages under the app try, how can there still be a flash white or black depending on the mode. It’s crazy to me. Or when you update an app that is is the app Rey it’s “white” or blank and then the short it doesn’t work.

I’ve had iOS 13 since early beta versions on my Xs Max and noticed battery capacity trickled down from a 100% to 96% in September alone!

Normal use here with day-to-day charging habits have had my phone for a year.

Bet Apple is playing dirty tricks here.

Anyone have contacts not syncing between devices? My contacts on my iPhone aren’t updating on my iPad. I tried signing out and back in from iCloud on both devices and still. Any workaround?

edit:never mind found out what the issue was!

Someone else got problems with calls on Xr after deleting the beta profile from the phone, neither iOS 13.1 or 13.1.1 had fixed it. Can't make calls, it will always show call error, I have reset all network settings, airplane mode, got the SIM card out, and nothing happens, but the call does go thru the phone, so if someone calls that number, you can answer, but not make calls.

Even after updating to IOS 13.1.1, Apple doesn’t look like it has fixed the email bug and the location settings bug either, 2 important features you would think they would of fixed up by now always with my contact app, when I open my contact app to select a contact to call after I call and I press back to show the contact list and close the app, when I come to open the contact app the next time the contacts page I last made a call to pops up instead of my contact list, IOS 13 has too many bugs to my likings and so far with 13.1 and 13.1.1 it doesn’t seem like Apple is doing anything about it even though it did address a few bugs .

Why you just don't use the youtube app ?

Also Wifi can be slow at times trying to download a website. iPhone X freezes at times and becomes unresponsive, end up having to hard reset my phone to work again, never had these issues until I downloaded IOS 13 and still happening on IOS 13.1.1. Also the badge Count Indicator doesn't appear for App updates in the App Store like it used to.

Experiencing no issue with AirPlay even with YouTube website on my Apple TV 4K. However, I’m on the latest tvOS beta though.

I’ve had the same issues of just a spinner after downloading and trying to update. Happened with both the 13.1 and 13.1.1 updates. The only workaround that has worked is disabling automatic updates. Once that is off, I’ve been able to install the updates. Why? I have no idea...lol

They beta tested iOS 13 all summer.

They’ve released THREE different iOS updates in the last eight days.

iOS 13 is still absolutely terrible. I don’t understand.

It must mean something when I say throughout ALL of iOS, I have never experienced such a battery drain like I did with iOS 13.1. Here I’m thinking my iPhone X wasn’t doing as well on battery life as iOS 12. Nope. Software related bug. Same with my 11 Pro. I was so disappointed thinking they deceived us.

Same thing happened to my 11 Pro.

This happened to me with my 11 Pro going from 13.0 to 13.1. I couldn’t even do an update via iTunes or even do a DFU restore. Phone wouldn’t respond to it. Now... that’s bad.

I had no drain on my xs or pro...this really is a case by case basis and not affecting every single unit

Overall smoother experience on iPhone 8 Plus. Yet couple persistent bugs since iOS 13.

- TouchID prompt not showing up, but fingerprint working just fine when touching home button.

- Safari tabs acting up (laggy animations and tabs vanishing etc.)

Don’t want to speak too soon. So far I’ve listened to 30 min podcast , used my iPhone X quite a bit and it’s only down to 90% battery. Normally it would be 75 and I’d have to charge twice a day . So fingers crossed This might have fixed one of my biggest niggles About this phone for months.

Battery life is cut in half still, on my SE and iPad 5 i can watch the battery go down really fast. Personally, i haven’t won anything from going to iPadOS.

I have to use it the next days too. But this version feels good. Mail app does work for me too (why are mail notifications disabled by default?). The keyboard still changing words into weird ones but the whole iOS feels a lot better for me. After that I’ve resetted my iPhone via iTunes without backup.

Don’t know if it ‘s a placebo effect but I think the battery drain on my AW Serie 5 is much better since 13.1.1...

I truly hate to say anything that would even remotely let anyone off the hook for this hot mess that Apple calls iOS 13, but it is possible that they tweaked the software to improve accuracy. The software battery health indication is not necessarily all that accurate. Have you tracked it with something like Coconut Battery?
