Downloaded 13.1.1 update, it asked to install. I told it to do so, and the phone seemed like it was rebooting to do the install....but shut off. Completely. I even let it sit for a few minutes before pressing the power button to turn it back on (Apple logo & spinning wheel...followed by install of the update). Odd.

Same thing happened to my 11 Pro.

Lol yeah, my 8 Plus shut off but I was updating it via iTunes so it automatically turned back on. Never seen that before!

1) Pasting text on between notes still increases the gap between sentences.

BUG: After zooming in on some content, zooming out using a double tap will not always work on Safari (neither on Chrome. I think it’s a system wide webkit bug or something).
I think this bug was introduced in 13.1

CarPlay still not working since 13.1. 13 is the absolute worst rollout Apple has ever released. WiFi Calling only works a fraction of the time. Really disappointing.

How can Apple screw up their software so bad as to render CarPlay unusable?? I’m growing ever tired of this.

Agreed, but at least I got notifications. The fact that I have to rely on a third party app (Outlook) is just a sad state of affairs at Apple !

I'm in agreement. I gave up on the native mail app 2+years ago and moved to Outlook due to so many problems. Based on Apple's inattentiveness to this issue, one has to assume they gave up on the native mail app.

I have the iPhone 11 pro, coming from the XR. I have been unimpressed with the battery, it would lose approximately 2% per hour on standby, screen off and a percent every couple minutes with the screen on. I realize it has only been a few hours, but that has seemed to resolve- it only lost 1% or less in the last 4 hours (on standby).

Car play worked fine for me on 13 and 13.1 - haven't gotten in the car since this .1 update but worked fine on 13

Pls what about all the development of iOS 11

Does the Camera Crop tool works now? When I take a 26mm Photo and want to Change the shot to 13mm, it doesn’t not appear (Crop Tool Zoom in and out).

I already had photo outside the frame enabled. Any idea?
In my experience it works when your see the extra wide angle image appear in the camera viewfinder. If your viewfinder only shows black above and below the 1x view then you probably won’t get to ”crop out.” Also the wide angle does not do well in lower light so if you’re taking pictures like that you probably won’t ever take a photo you can “crop out.” Try taking a few pics outdoors in sunlight and watch for the wide angle view to appear in the 1x viewfinder before taking your shot.

im not saying I don’t believe you but CarPlay works just fine for me. If it was a universal issue I’m sure they’d fix it.

13.1.1 doesn't fix any of my bugs.

iOS 13 blows so far. So many obvious and egregious bugs, a lot of these aren't small obscure bugs.

I mean, no keyboard key depression/feedback when responding to texts from the lock screen? Camera not defaulting to photo mode when you have the preserve settings to let it go back to camera mode? Come on. And honestly, the preserve settings descriptions are sort of ass-backwards and confusing from how they should be laid out and described.

I'll second paste in notes being messed up by inputting extra spaces (and I'm talking using the normal paste function, not the new gestures, which I can barely get to work anyway so I gave up).

Perhaps a more obscure bug, but some apps won't let you change the location services setting to anything but Ask.

Oh, and share sheets? Don't get me started, what an inconsistent and non-sensical mess those are.

Only CarPlay issue I’ve experienced on my Xs is the cellular signal bars not updating, and that issue has been around since the phone was released. After driving through an area with no service, they will start updating again for a short time, but will eventually return to no updates. Issue still persists with 13.1 and 13.1.1
