updated both iPhone 8+ and iPad pro 2017 to 13.1.1 and had no problems but I have few issues with Mail, beside a longer wait to get the mail for gmail. When I select 'all' and then “delete” there are always few emails that are automatically deselected

3.5 hours screen on time with 73% remaining on my iPhone 11 Pro. Not sure if that’s awesome or just good. I have never monitored screen on time. Just how long the charge lasts in general.

I’m hoping it gets better after a few days since I just updated last night around 9.

Charged to 100%. Unplugged at 11:56 PM

That’s amazing!!! My iPhone 7 with a new battery would be almost dead after that much screen time!! Nice! Now I want one! Maybe next year!

So is the heating gone on the iphone 7 series? And standby battery drain gone too??

Got my battery back on my SE, after the last OS 12 update and then on 13.1, it was going from 100 % to 65% overnight with no use! My first gen 12.9 iPad also suffered a dramatic loss. But my 10.5 and mini 5 iPads seemed not to be affected. Today, 24 hours after installing 13.1.1 my SE was 93% this morning after coming off charge about 10am yesterday, it’s had no use but still. 93% is a lot better than 65%.

I have no performance or battery issues.
Car Play works fine for me.

On my iPad when I woke it this am - it wouldn't change from portrait to landscape mode even when rotated several times. Also, the icons were "upside down" on the top of the screen with the app icons looking fine at the bottom. Didn't correct until I opened an application - almost as if the screen manager didn't wake up until an app opened.
The .1 didn't promise an email fix - that is the one I totally don't understand - not sure what has changed but everyone uses email and Apple didn't notice that it takes minutes after notice for the email to actually show up.

I truly hate to say anything that would even remotely let anyone off the hook for this hot mess that Apple calls iOS 13, but it is possible that they tweaked the software to improve accuracy. The software battery health indication is not necessarily all that accurate. Have you tracked it with something like Coconut Battery?

CoconutBattery shows 330 cycles at 97.9% battery capacity. I’d trust that number as opposed to what is trying to tell me at 96%.

battery drain is quite sig more than 13.1 13.1 is still the best version for battery life over daily use

What made apple push this
3.1.1 update out on a weekend? Must contain critical improvements. Just installed on my 11 pro

I will say that since updating to this I’ve had a few issues I’ve never had in the past year with my xs max. It completely froze and wouldn’t even turn off, I had to do the vol up, vol down, power reset method to get it working. And then I got a call frI’m my wife and it wouldn’t let me answe, it was completely unresponsive. I’ve never had any issue at all with this phone until this update .

Same here can’t remember how I got it to reboot which I did eventually. Let the performance throttling begin!

Not strange at all. A beta profile will only download beta releases. 13.1.1 is not a beta. Therefore you must remove beta profile to update to it. If you want to still get betas you will need to reinstall profile. This is by design as it has always been.

Yeah I thought something was off because I was of the belief that 13.1.1 would be available via the beta profile but it was not. I removed the profile installed the updated and reinstalled the profile again. I wonder why it was not / has not been released to public beta users yet - interesting.

A new one for 13.1.1 - saw this last on 13.1 PB2

For some web sites in Safari, when you reopen Safari and you view has changed from Portrait to Landscape of vice versa, the view will Zoom in 2x. Seeing this especially on sites that have heavy text.

Safari lags on some sites.
Shortcuts loose connection when you leave the app.

Since i updated both my 7 Plus and iPP 11", neither will complete an iCloud backup.
Both are behaving the same. The progress bar will move along giving an estimated time remaining, then right near the end it says 'updating iCloud' 1 minute remaining, then just stays there. I have had both IPP and iPhone open for over an hour each and still says the same.

However, if I press cancel, it says completed and gives the correct time that i cancelled. It is like it has actually completed, but I am not sure it has.

Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I am seeing the same thing,

I still have the feeling that iOS 13 is the newer version of iOS 11, how Apple wanted to do it after they have decided to fix all bugs first with iOS 12. Because I’m noticing issues which I had with iOS 11 but not with iOS 12 anymore. The settings app is freezing for no reason for example.

Exact same happened to me one day after updating. I was using Safari and my Pro Max totally froze. Never happened to me before.

Battery life seems to have improved with 13.1.1 on my 7+. I went for a short run with my Bluetooth Headset on and my Garmin connected to my phone via Bluetooth and 100% when I returned. I will monitor it for the next couple of days for more normal workdays to see how things go. My iPad Mini 5 has been fine with battery life on 13.0, 13.1 and 13.1.1.
