View attachment 855127 Not sure if this the right place to mention this but it’s an IOS 13.1 thing.
When on the home or any other app page if you open a folder full of apps it has a transparent background so the apps in the folder appear to be floating on the page.

I don’t know how some folks aren’t having problems. But I’m having the same problem too. The temporary work around fix till the next beta comes out.

New to the beta process question:

I want to update to 13.1 public beta via iTunes, I'm currently on 13.0 public b8. Is it possible to do this on a Windows 10 PC? When I launch iTunes, connect my phone, and Check for Update, it tells me I'm on the most current version. I have the beta profile installed on the phone and can see the update available through Software Update on the phone.

Even if you download the .ipsw file the iTunes shift+update method will not update your device successfully. The method described on the ipodhacks142 website does work however. I am beginning to think that Apple are not going to let people manage their own iOS updates in the future. BTW the last time I tried imazing it also failed.

Never saw that, interesting. I just rebooted my device gracefully and after reboot the profile is still not there, no new beta offered therefore.

Is your device enrolled into some sort of MDM that could explain why you can't remove the profile?

It shouldn't be.

Yeah I reported it under something else too.
Don’t know how often it gets updated. Took a few days for my announce with Siri to say more than 10.

With millions of beta testers reporting bugs, Apple still manages to fall behind on iOS 13 development. Sad!

I think it depends on how you might want to move to the new iPhones once they’re released. If you plan on restoring from a backup, hold off on moving to 13.1.
Personally, I’m going to do a clean install and setup as new and then update to iOS 13.1, although I am seeing a few more bugs in 13.1 that weren’t present in the latest 13 beta. But that’s probably to be expected. And I’m assuming there’ll be a couple of updates to 13.1 by then anyway...

Yea I decided to do the same. I like to do a clean install every once and a while anyway so that’ll work.

There’s no way in hell that beta 8 is/was the GM. I’m sure Apple wouldn’t put public to do beta testing when the new iPhones are about to be released. People upgrading will be mad if they can’t restore their phones on launch date. Unless, the iPhone this year will be released a 2 weeks later instead of the week after. Then we can have about 4-5 beats of 13.1.
