twinkle to Twinkie, etc...
Reported.

I'm a strange guy, and I've spent the last 20 minutes trying to figure out if I've ever used the word twinkle in a text message. I cannot think of a use case for this word in text. I can definitely see saying/singing it with kids etc., but I can't think of a reason for it to be in a text.

This is probably why I don't get much done in life.

Normally, I'd say you are correct, but these are not minor features being added back in. If we had never known about them from the early 13.0 betas, we'd think these were huge additions to the OS. I think they should be viewed in that light.
Exactly. Which is why I doubt this will be ready shortly after the new iPhone launch.

There will most likely be a 13.0.1 release very shortly after the initial 13 release, and most bug fixes being addressed in the 13.1 betas would be applied in the .0.1 release (save for the omitted “features” we’ll be testing for the 13.1 release).
Right. Which is why I was saying the 13.1 is most likely not intended for a quick release after the iPhones. I wouldn't be surprised if it's later in October before we see it released.

simply delete the beta profile and reboot. The. Wait for iOS 13 that’s coming on the 10th.

It is not coming on the 10th. They never release the public final until a week AFTER the keynote. So expect iOS 13 final on Tuesday September 17th or Wednesday September 18th.

Listening to this week's Connected podcast, Federico hinted that little birdies in Apple told him that 13.1 is going to be a fast follow to 13.0. Given the iCloud Files stuff is still missing, I think there is a chance we will see this by end of September.

LMAO!!! True.

Texting back and forth to my granddaughter.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star .... she would do the next line. Or I would if she started one ...

Spoken by someone who's probably never written a line of code (at least in a huge software development project).

New features + bugs + more bugs + more fixes = schedules slip.

I think his comment was sarcastic as its form mirrors that of Trump’s tweets.

I suspect it will land on 9/19 before the new phones arrive. If they don't hit that date, there are potentially going to be a lot of messed up transitions to new phones, unless (as I think @TimFl! suggested) the build of iOS 13.1 is "really" an iOS 13 build (for purposes of the system recognizing a backup made in iOS 13.1 that is. That is the only way I see this not landing before or on the day of the phone launch.

Could be... but is 3 weeks really a "fast follow"? :D

This is new. Volume HUD shows what device you’ve got connected. In this case AirPods.

This is a really weird bug but....
When replying from Notification screen or lockscreen the keyboard sound would be so loud and then will return to normal volume after. Anyone experience it??
If you mean the key clicks then yes they get very loud at times then return to normal. Not a huge issue but it startles me every time LOL.

I’ve noticed a bug when I force touch/haptic touch/3D touch (whatever they’re calling it now) on a new message from my notifications, I cannot close the message by tapping the X. I have to swipe up to close it out. Anyone else getting this bug?

iPhone 7 other than worse battery life is working quite smooth. I’m not using the apps everyone is complaining about so that helps of course. But crap battery for sure.

IPP 12.9 G2 13.1 PB
App Auto Update is definitely not working.
This is now the second app that has indicated I need to install the update. Went into App Store and had several apps pending from as much as a week back.
Interesting it now says “Upcoming Automatic Updates”. Nope. Not automatic.

This one was for Spectrum TV.
The other was for Chase.
