Playing around with PB3 on XR for the past hour and it feels great! Screen touch and animation fluidity is perfect. So far all the apps I have tested are running perfectly. Mail, message, phone, all perfect and no glitches. Even keyboard feels amazingly good. All my banking apps still work

I know some of you may still be having some problems, hopefully this build will fix things for you. So I’m considering myself very lucky. This is definitely GM feel. Now to see how the battery and radio connections hold up over the next few days.

For those that may care (and don't check the AW threads) it seems WatchOS 6 GM is out, shows 1.3 GB on my side, still says it has about 50 minutes left on download.

Does it show “GM”?

I just installed 13.1 b3 , and I get prompted to update my Apple ID and enter my password again and again...anything I could do?

OK I just signed out and signed it in my Apple ID and now it is all good

Since iOS 13.1 Public Beta 1 I’ve had the Apple Podcasts app crash on me constantly - now in PB 3 it still crashes but only when I full-screen the playing podcast. This is using an iPhone XS Max.

It means playing podcasts is a case of opening the app > trying to press the small ‘play’ icon on the minimised podcast > if I press elsewhere it goes full screen and crashes again > begin again. I haven’t been able to scroll down to my upcoming playlist since then as a result. Reported to Apple 31/8/19.

Worked fine in the iOS 13 PBs so something has changed in 13.1.

No multitasking from Spotlight at all and none from the home screen without finger acrobatics. Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament*

*I wonder if anyone will get that reference

I just got the 13.1 PB3 down and Spotlight multitasking does work! Not by just CMD+Space, search and drag but after dragging you also have to tap “Cancel” in the search field then drop the app where you want it. So, not completely fixed but more fixed than before.

Does Siri shortcuts automations work for someone? I’ve tried anything. Location based setting is enabled, also that it should run automatically is enabled. But nothing. I’ve got a notification when I left my home if I want to disable WiFi. Came home and WiFi was still disabled.

Just pitching in. iPXSMax PB3. Has 3 loc based autos set up on PB 2 and they ran every time albeit with a false ‘failed to run’ alert after a successful operation.

After PB3 instal, one I have tested works. I will test out again in morning (UK time) and let you know how my other ones are.

How’s this one running for you? I haven’t jumped on 13 betas yet and was wondering what you think. :)

I suppose the battery life can’t be any worse than 13.1B2 was for me. Install?

I cant seem to invoke several instances of the same app anymore... it just always opens the same version of the app and doesn’t remember different app combos, as in mail+safari, mail+notes etc, it just always will open a new app with notes and the others will forget that they were opened with notes before... Bug? Purpose?

iCloud notes sync still broken, not uploading changes to iCloud! don't know how they are going to release it to the public in a month time.

Not completely broken for me but often slow syncing compared to iOS 12. iCloud Photo(stream) is also slow for me. (slow between my Xs and iPP 12.9” both on latest dev beta)

That's somewhat similar to the way the home screen multitasking "works". You have to pick up the icon (which immediately goes into wiggle mode) then tap home button (or swipe up if your iPad is buttonless), then you can initiate a second app with another tap and finally drop the first on it. In both cases it's like they forgot to break the features all the way!

Good find though. At least it can be done somehow. Thanks for posting it.

Volume HUD still sticks & stays on left side of screen when using in certain apps. TuneIn radio is the one for me. Open tunein , change volume with side buttons & HUD just stays. Only way to get rid is to turn screen off & on. iPhone X.

Someone had reported this in beta 2. For me, though, in both beta 2 and 3 it doesn’t stay forever, it stays for about 60 seconds and then it disappears. Try waiting a bit longer and see if it goes away for you as well. Obviously this isn’t how it should work regardless.

Any chance you can do a short screencast illustrating this? I opened Files full screen. Then I did a CMD-Space search for Pages. Pages comes up as a search result. I tried to drag it somewhere and simultaneously click on the Cancel button next to the search bar. No dice.

New iPhones are on a GM build for iOS 13. So if I’m correct this build is way ahead. Anyways.

It seems the Bluetooth audio bug is now random. Didn’t happen today. I think it also has to do with how recent I unplug from the charger.
