Does anyone have the bug/issue when you go to SETTINGS -> scroll down to the app you want location to be set to NEVER (or something else other than the default) then instantly goes back to ASK NEXT TIME!
Oddly some apps that had location already configured previously was not affected.
The issue is on iPadOS 13.1 on my 2nd gen ipad pro 12.9”. Anyone else having same issue?

I've had this bug too since iOS 12 where sometimes pull to refresh won't work, and I have to open and close the mail app for it to get new emails. Incredible something as basic as this still isn't fixed.
Anyone noticed a motion like effect in settings background when your scroll up or down in dark mode? It’s not happening when dark mode is off.

Can u send SMS messages from your iPad Pro?
I can only send and receive iMessages. SMS messages aren’t working.

Have all or some of these issues been fixed? Is it safe to install IOS 13.1 or wait?
- the option to save a trimmed video as a different video in the photos app gone (I use that function weekly due to recording rec basketball and trimming or editing out highlights or more). I want to go back to 12.4.1 for that feature alone but the pros of IOS 13 outweigh 12.4.1 to me (mainly dark mode).
- the gimped 3D touch for the sake of haptic touch (true peek and pop is gone outside of 3rd party apps that support it)
- Photos app crashing while scrolling fast in the app
- Phone overheating doing basic tasks like using apollo, reading artciles on safari or facetiming, etc
- album art bug where album art are wrong for playlists (playlists from my Itunes, I dont use apple music)
- battery life got a bit worse (I use dark mode too)
- message app crashing once I 3D touch a contact in the message app

No, I can't. Trying to send SMS to a NON iPhone user, the message just hangs there, green thin progress bar freezes. SMS works fine on my iPhone 13.1 (Just finished updating that)
Still playing around with this but....NO. An edited trimmed video will NOT save as a new clip. It "saves" the trimmed version. If you hit "Edit" again, you still have the full version of the video. It's bizarre! Yes, I miss the "save as new clip." myself.
The 'haptic touch"is now the norm I suppose. The one thing that makes me batty about this, a long press to open a menu to Share or "Rearrange Apps" - Then hit rearrange, the moving of apps - for me - is sluggish on both iPad and iPhone.
Phone overheating, it's warm for me...but I guess its still indexing.
No other issues...yet.

I appreciate the response, I am sad about the trimmed videos feature being removed.
As far as moving or deleting apps on the home screen, the workaround now is to hold the app (3d touch) and moving the app in two direction (up or down). It will initiate the "wigggle" mode to delete or move apps (no need to click rearrange apps). It is sluggish but works. Another dumb change in my opinion.

I am 13.0, tested in Safari and the right swipe works fine. I dont use the news app. What happens with you do a "right swipe" to go back?
YES! Gmail and Capital One apps keep going back to Ask even though I keep selecting Never on my Xs. I can tap Never, the check mark appears next to Never, but as soon as you back out it goes back to Ask. Showed up in 13.0, 13.1 did not fix, nor did reinstalling the apps. Gmail has had an update since iOS 13 was released, that didn't fix it. Capital One has not been updated since before 13.0 came out.
Super annoying. All other apps hold their location settings.
It’s intermittent. Mostly I see it in the news app. Open a story, then swipe right to go back to the main article list and when I lift my finger the page snaps back left to the page I was trying to leave
Bummer. Apple suggested reseting my settings but I'd rather not lose all of my wifi passwords etc.
Nah don’t do all that. Set your phone up as new and just turn on your messages in iCloud and plug your phone in and keep it on WiFi and go to sleep. They should be there by tomorrow morning
I may do that. Was also hoping to not have to redownload all of my apps. But I guess it will be good to have a clean install.

On your iPhone, try toggling iMessage off then back on. Worked for me.
