Mail bugs still not fixed. Get notification that I have an email, have to pull-down reload to make it appear.
I was hoping 13.1 had made Siri’s new neural voice work for the turn by turn directions and iMessage “read my messages” voices. But those two are still read out loud using the iOS 12 style crappy voice. Now, only questions like “what will the weather be like today?” get the new smooth voice.
Have you logged it? I did, and apple closed it replying "works as currently designed", so I opened another one which so far has been ignored and apparently I'm the only one with the issue.
There is. You just shrink the keyboard to the one handed keyboard first. Then swipe will work on that keyboard. To shrink, just pinch the keyboard with two fingers.
They are showing now, thank god. I thought I had lost them forever..no heating up here
Same issue here and can’t seem to find a fix. Tried creating a thread from haptic menu and still nothing shows up.
I believe it resets the recents list each time you upgrade iOS so you'll need to start sending some messages before that repopulates.
Don't know if it's been mentioned but since Beta 4 I cannot activate scenes with long pressing the Home app and selecting the scene. It just loads the app but nothing happens. Worked on earlier betas. Also long pressing on Activity and selecting Trends loads the Workouts. 
I’m on 13.1 beta 4 and have been for 5 days. I thought that originally, but still not working.
Ah, sorry, I forgot this wasn't the "13.1 beta 4" thread (the versions are the same). Us beta testers have access to an app to log issues. Most of them are ignored but it makes us feel useful.
Only half of my contacts sync with my 2018 bmw idrive after updating to 13.1, i akipped 13.0 so don’t know if the problem started in .1 - there was no issues on 12.4.1. Anyone noticed similar?
Are your actual photos there? My Entire Photos database is rebuilding/re-downloading.. And it made it about halfway thru and stalled.
When I go to photos they’re all there. I was thinking maybe that was the issue but I’ve had my phone since Friday and I can’t imagine it’s still rebuilding. I can try turning on download originals to see if that helps, however I have 18k photos. I may just try to restore. Then I’m worried after going through a restore it will still be an issue if I restore from backup.

This is for sure frustrating. Especially when you pull down and it takes 5 seconds for the new email to appear.
It might be a new issue for some people in iOS 13/13.1, but not for me, I've experienced it in previous versions of iOS, too.

Not here. When I long-press or force-touch on that icon, I get two recent contacts in addition to the rearrange apps & new message choices.
I don't know what to think anymore. 13.1 seems to be ok for the most part on my iPad Pro

The release is 17A844. The "5" and small letter on the end are beta identifiers. They are essentially the same builds but release has beta logging and feedback app removed. This is normal going from beta builds to release builds.
