Hmm, that's not good. Mind sharing what exactly is not fixed for you? I know there are several issues, some having trouble more than others.
I can say without a doubt, the long list of mail issues I reported have been fixed for me! Haven’t been able to reproduce any since beta 2 release today.

iOSBry

None of my feedback reports are seeing a comment from apple. Does this suggest none of the bugs reported by me have been addressed in this beta.
No. They never respond personally to every single report, never have. Does'nt mean they are not addressing things though.

It’s the mail not appearing in the inbox until you open the app and it then checks for mail..... even though you have a notification and badge notification.

iCloud mail

it works the odd time, but not most of the time

Hopefully I’m not speaking too soon, but it appears as if the “Up Next” widget has finally stopped shifting around.

I think that is by design. iCloud triggers the number badge from the server but the actual messages are not downloaded until you launch the app. That’s the way my 11 Pro Max works. However checking emails on my iPad Pro that was updated to the current beta this afternoon the messages were already there when I launched the app. So they may have tinkered with this or perhaps it varies by device.

Only started with iOS 13 beta 1, when I had an XS Max, so its not just the 11 series.

I don’t think it is by design as the option is still there for “Push email”.... not just Push Email Notifications.

pull email is less efficient than push, so I doubt they would have gone back to pull email.

it’s also messed up on my wife’s iPhone 6s and that again only started with iOS 13GM

True, but in the past I’d at least get a message saying ticket was closed due to duplicate ticket number 123456. Now it’s just radio silence.

My phone has never been on a beta and whether it started with 13.3 or 13.0 I don’t remember now. But that’s been the behavior for quite a while now. Checking my iPad Pro just now the new messages were not immediately there but appeared in about a second. Anyway this behavior definitely changed from iOS 12 and has been this way now for so long that I consider it normal.

Grrrr.......

XS Max now on B2. Here's to hoping.

Phone: call about 5 minutes after updating. Echo. Hung up. Called back and echo was gone. We'll see.

Mail: System is still pulling mail even after telling you that new mail exists.

Mail: View is at root account menu. When going back in I am seeing either root, All Inbox, or a single account inbox.

We will see how things go. Hope they fixed something substantive.
Updating IPP 12.9 G2 as I type this.

Also depends on the mail type. Gmail for example no longer supports push in the iOS app (not for a long time now). Outlook.com and Exchange still does though.

I've never had that issue. Mail has always shown up for me the moment it arrives. Having said that ... I know how annoying that is because Edison mail was doing that exact thing ... so I switched back to the Mail app. It's silly that issue isn't fixed by now though. Reminds me how long it took to fix the calculator bug.

I only have iCloud accounts, 2. And this behavior hasn’t changed since 13.0 on my phone which has only been on the general releases, no betas. After 13.3.1 beta 2 on my iPad Pro the process seems faster but they’re still being pulled down after launch. The time to appear may depend on how many are on the server. But the iPad seems faster than the phone. Anyway after all this time I can only assume they have designed it this way. It hasn’t really changed regardless of beta or general release.

No, that is not by design and not how it should work. It’s a bug in iOS 13. The notification should indicate the mail is pulled. It’s ridiculous that Apple can’t figure out how to fix that.

if I have the app open messages appear almost immediately but if I have not launched the app but see, say 10 as a number badge, they do not appear until about a second or two after launch. Initially I see previously read messages then the new ones appear. That hasn’t changed since 13.0 on my 11 Pro Max or my iPad Pro which is on the current beta. They do seem to appear a little faster on the iPad.

After all this time it seems to be a bug that will not be fixed. So I have accepted it as the standard current behavior. As long as they appear when I launch the app even if it takes a second or two I’m ok with it.

Even though I’m not having this issue, I’m now seeing it on my mom’s iPhone. That would drive me batty.

I’d have no problem if the mail appeared a second or two after opening the app. But for me, sometimes it shows a new badge, but upon opening the app it takes ages to check for the message. This can be overridden by clicking the “filter by unread” button.
Why is the mail not appearing in the inbox?
You’d think they would’ve fixed this damn problem. It feels as if between iOS 12 and iOS 13 Apple went from a company that makes solid, reliable software to one that makes exceptionally s*** software. I feel like I’m running Microsoft Bob on my iPhone.

Love how half the discussion of this beta turned into mail issues lol. Just use Spark. That’s the number one reason I don’t use the Mail app, it waits to download the messages based on the account. With Spark my messages are already there. I saw the real benefit of this when I took a flight to PR recently. Same when I’m on the NYC subway with no service.

Granted. It’s not perfect: sometimes it doesn’t download every new text email.

What a coincidence. I was having random disconnections as well on my flagship router which is an ASUS Rapture AX-11000 . They were too frequent no matter what firmware I tried (went back to older firmwares) and did many factory resets. Then I setup my older router which is a TP-Link Archer C5400X and never had a single disconnection since then and that's with Smart Connect turned on as well.

Not saying it's the router only but perhaps it's an issue with ASUS router and iPhones on this OS in particular.

Indeed it might be. Well it doesn’t happen often enough for me to get another router. Or during any critical times yet. Plus LTE speeds are awesome backup for me. So I guess I’ll be ok for now.

I have 9 mail accounts and am not seeing the above issues. A mix of push, fetch and manual accounts.

It feels like something was done under the covers because B2 seems a bit "snappier".

I got the customary “changes in this release affect items reported... is this resolved?” response to the bug report I submitted for the speakerphone echo issue but that’s about it.

It means they made changes but haven’t confirmed the fix yet. Or they waiting to see if it’s reported again on the new beta.

That would explain the inconsistency with one person report here.

Smart invert colours finally works as it should on this beta. Safari works like it should and finally shows the dark keyboard when Smart invert is enabled. It also finally work for the news app and other apps seems to works properly as well.

The only problem remaining now is the home page menu and notifications will invert if you are in dark mode and if you zoom, it will invert as well so you need to turn off dark mode and turn on smart invert to work without any issues but just making a quick siri shortcut will solve this problem for now.

Its finally a good update for me and I hope the final build will at least stay like this.

I don’t get many emails after business hours, but the handful I have gotten show no more freezing when choosing a mail notification. That’s my only issue with mail I’ve had.

Does anyone know if this addresses issues with the music app frequently freezing up crashing and reloading?

Another issues related is safari loading new tabs to a blank black screen of favicons?

The App Store constantly reloading when scrolling through different tabs looking at the apps?
